I can think of a few very good nsw wingers in Tahu, Lewis, and Rooney, but it falls away a bit after that.

tahu is so inconsistant though

he's either the best on field or the worse

of course if they are going to select gidley they must take tahu cause he's the only one that seems to be able to make him look good

Seeing as the blues aren't exactly overflowing with wing talent I'll throw Richards in as a real dark horse, but I don't rate him much and wouldn't be surprised to see him staying in reggies.

I was going to argue this - but am having trouble thinking of an even half-decent nsw winger...

surely they won't try to play a centre on the wing again after devere was such a disaster

but I hope for the blues sake that we can do better than richards (who I agree should start in Premiers)

if hodgson is going well at selection time he can play fullback & minichello can play on the wing also with the penrith blokes 1 would have to miss out & sorry luke its you (thats if they name tahu & both miss out)

I am predicting a big year for Skando in 2004.
But back to reality:
Robbie Farah is our best bet of a genuine NSW origin player in 2-3 years time.
Scott Prince must be a good chance for Queensland if he avoids injury.
Bronson Harrison - recent man of the match for Junior Kiwis - in about 4 years for the full Kiwi side.

Bronson Harrison looks big for his age and certainly not out of place playing in Premier League at the moment.
I fancy us havng an all-NZ centre pairing in a few years of Bronson Harrison and Dene Halatau.
Have never seen Bronson kicking - others might have who have followed his career more closely for longer.

What about Collis. He will push Halatau out no probs.

i'll throw in boof, each year he has improved with 2002 roookie of the year and then ironman and player of the year in 2003.
he keeps on getting better but it sounds you guys think there isn't any improvement left for this 23y old.
if the tigers are a consistent team near the top of the table this year and next he will be noticed and be a chance for SOO in 2005.

Im going to go for Rob Farah.I odont think Boof is big or dynamic enough to get noticed for rep football, especially for a backrow spot that is hotly contested.

Farah in a couple of years,he is dynamic and could be a real find for us a the rep sides.Ive been watching the old games of us this year and when he comes on we look a different sie,a dynamic hooker makes a huge diffrence the way the game is played today...re Woolford,Wing etc.

If not Farah then Benji Marshall,if he goes well cos NZ and QLD are both a little light on stocks in that position, fingers crossed. And while Im at it,if Prince goes well he would have to be a big chance, only Berrigan is in front of him,so if we get on a roll,we might have ourseleves arep plkayer for QLD.....wow.
