It depends on who our coach is
If its Price. - he will probably try and manufacture a non
half into a half
If we have a decent coach I would like to see
Josh Drinkwater be given a proper go

Price would say Kyle Stanley...LOL!
This makes more sense, than anything the chinless clown has to say

Kyle should have first tilt at 7,hopefully he can fulfil the expectations some of us have for him.
I f he can't then Williams may get his chance,at least we have some options next year

Drinkwater would be the back up IMO.

The little taste of first grade recently should fire him up a bit...

in the trials i would give Stanley, Drinkwater and Williams all a run, giving them all an even shot to prove they deserve first choice at half.
i dont agree with a pre-conceived notion of giving someone first shot at a position - they will need to earn it.

Widdop and Stanley to start in the halves. If that doesn't work out there is plenty of back-up in Williams and Drinkwater. It would seem there was more to it than ability or form insofar as super-coach picking Fien at 1/2 for the entire year even though it was perfectly obvious from watching the trails he was going to be a disaster in that position and only got worse as the year went on.

Widdop at 7 and Quinlan at 6. I rekon Quinlan deserves first crack next season.
A lot of if's and but's, Williams wont 'flop'...

But if the coach wants to go in a different direction it can only be Widdop into #7, hes the only experienced playmaker we have, after that you slot either Quinlan or Stanley into #6.

Drinkwater id think will leave, either him or Harry, no point keeping both.

Price has already stated that Kyle will have first crack at half. Williams and Drinkwatter are back ups.

Price won't have any say in the matter. Surely! Having said that, I hope Stanley and Widdop get first chance in the halves. Given that super-coach said it, I think most people are understandably skeptical on the idea.

Actually, he didn't say it....

If Stanley can stay healthy i think he is the one with the most complete game,he can tackle as well as being a good goal kicker.

Williams i like, especially with ball in hand,he asks questions of the defence but is suspect in defence.

Drinkwater could be the surprise if he works on his defence as he has a good passing game & left foot kick which is always a bonus.

Quinlan is a smokey but imo would need the forwards to dominate as his support play & speed are his strengths.
