I think Jason Smith should be captain this year.
He has the experience and has a cool head.

Nothing against Thurston who is one of the top 5 players in the NRL. I just think he will be able to play better without the extra pressure of being captain.

I cant really see Thurston as captain, Payne was captain a few times last year and I thought he did alright. I cant see why Payne cant be captain, although it wouldnt surprise me if Thurston was picked. I see him more as a key/star player, inspirational.

I thought the Dragons captain was gonna be Hornby.
