yeah funny how now he is in charge of a guy he rated outside the top 20 NRL fullbacks & never played a game since then, has leaped into orgasmic potential game breaker status!!!
Is this sticks first mistake? Second guessing himself?

He may be of different opinion being able to influence his playing style maybe.
I agree that is very likely. however, it comes back to "potential".
We have better players with less potential in other positions & there is competion for players in those positions.
ricky has tried to manufacture players at the Roosters and has had mixed success. It would be a shame for him to come undone at the business end because he made serious error in judgement.

Simmo must impress people at training or something.

Or it could be that goofy grin of his is a panty dropper.

I'm giving the while backline a fresh chance to impress this year including Simmo.

I mean it would have been hard for anybody to shine in our backline last year including Peachey. Fingers crossed with a re-jigging of the halves all the backs will improve dramatically including Simmo.

Dustin Cooper should be fullback. Especially if he's become so injury free he's matching it for speed with Albert. He's a big hard merkin who WILL break tackles.
Let Simmo be Unco's backup.

Stuart has no choice but to talk Simmo up now. He's his coach and he's a loyalist. I don't think Sticky is about undermining his own while at the same time he knows the power of positive pandering to player egos.

He may well be saying, or even think, Simmo has "potential" now but I guarantee Simmo could well be suffering Hot Potato syndrome if he continues to play like some purse carrying nancy boy.

Stuart uses power fullbacks. I defy anyone here to say they have seen signs of power play from Simmo no matter how much kinetic talent the dropkick might have hidden under his skirt.

To be honest i didn't even have this blond nuffy in my starting 17!

I think Mitch Brown deserves first crack on the loyalty sisde of things but if sticky is here for business and not to make people happy then u would be mad not to have misi in there!

Correct Frenz, the only time I can recall he ever ran the ball with power & aggresion was in the 2005 finals when we bowed out to the dragons. It was a bit late to do it @ that stage of the season.

Selective memory recall is a wonderful thing.
He's lucky anyone even remembers that.

I don't think he is as bad as he is made out to be in here....although he needs to get a lot of mongrel and fast.

Yeah i agree Carch - he does have the skills.

And a mongrel attitude would compliment that nicely.
