Well i'm assuming he's still injured. No idea when he is due back.

I just read over at the Panthers message board that Michael Gordon is expected to be back next weekend... if true then it's possible that both Tia Kilifi and McFadgeon will miss out.

Personally i hope that Tighe gets dropped before Tia Kilifi.

Spud Elford has been out with a niggling back and leg injury and is hoping to be back next week. My understanding is that Gordo will return the following week, but if it's been reported on PI (as mx said) that he is going to play next weekend, then that's awesome news.

I spoke to Gordon at ABCOE today there was something happening there he said he is back next week himself. I don't if he will Goalkick right away but him being back is a start.

Depends on Tighe tonight he and Sammut have been performing poorly the last 5 or 6 weeks and need a big game

If elford is back next week and sammutt not really showing much over the last few rounds IMO, I wouldn't mind seeing gordon at fullback. Either that or in the centres depending on availability.

I'm willing to cut Sammut some slack, he has been playing with a f*cked hip. Can't expect him to be his usual self when he can't even move his legs properly. That's the reason he hasn't been our goalkicker lately.

If we get Gordon back maybe we can give Sammut a week or two off to let his hip heal. He and a few others are playing through injuries simply because we're weak on troops. Wade Graham is another who could probably use a rest... maybe when Sammut is fit give Graham a rest and use Sammut at 5/8?

I think it more a confidence thing than a movement thing. Either way he needs to fire up. He and Tighe are the seniors in that backline tonight and should lift and many people hope he does

Sammut isn't up to FG. I would slot Jennings or Gordon back to fullback and Sammut out to Windsor. Sammut would enjoy his footy much more at the lower level. Gordon is wasted on the wing.

If we had another viable option at 5/8 Wade Graham would have been rested by Matt Elliot weeks ago as he has largely provided little.

Wade Graham lack's pace which has been plainly evident throughout the season.

Watch a replay of the Panthers v Eels and compare Wade to young Mortimer from the Eels.

Without the speed, strength (power) or acceleration to be a top class 5/8 he may have to bulk up and develop into a lock.
