Maybe if Mitchell didnt make such an idiot out of himself whenever he opened his mouth he probley would still be coach, our forwards have also improved ALOT this year especially our tight five.

If the All Blacks lose against the Lions Henry will be forced out of his coaching position and Steve Hansen will become the fifth All Blacks coach in ten years.

Whats the role of the coach? To talk to the media, or to devise tactics that make the side successful? Heck, ban Mitchell from fronting the media and give him media personnel. Don't really care, all I care about is the performance on the field and they were miles, and miles, and miles ahead under Mitchell's control than any All Blacks coach of the past 15 years.

Since when was Henry the backs coach Iafeta?

Henry chose Wayne Smith and gives the tick of approval for any major tactics. Don't tell me unlike John Mitchell he's not accountable?

I never said that but you are blaming EVERYTHING on Graham Henry.
His overall record is far superior to Mitchell's but the flat backline is not working, I think he's taken the hint by the public and critics.

He has lost 2 from what 8? Mitchell lost 4 from 22 or something like that. Its also not just about the results you get, such as the Wayne Smith record, its the way you play, there was always a positive future under Mitchell, the tries were coming etc. Under Smith and Henry its just docile. And now Henry has the audacity to say New Zealanders shouldn't expect as their devine right New Zealand to always win and that the players confidence is just shattered. What a load of rubbish. Its the same rubbish Mitchell dealt to the public except Henry has more nouse as to how to go about saying it.

I was referring to Henrys over all coaching record
Auckland NPC champions for what? 8 years in a row? Ranfurly shield champs for like 5 years
Blues coach for 2 years and won 2 championships
Coached Wales to a 5 nations trophy
How about Mitchell’s record? He coached a mid-table super 12 for one year, forward coach of a once mediocre English side
Mitchell was a scapegoat no doubt about it but he handled the media poorly and as you said to expect anything less than a world cup victory last year was nothing short of a disaster, he lost and he was sacrificed because we were outsmarted in every area on the field that faithful night in Sydney.
The futures still a positive one and I still believe we'll defeat the Lions
