15 of the last 20 grand finals have featured either Melbourne or the Roosters.

How good is the salary cap!

But there has been 12 different winners in those 20 years, and even the really shit teams that haven’t been able to win one, have played in one, Or in parra and warriors case, 2.

only the titans haven’t featured in one.

the salary cap is doing exactly what the NRL wants, every team has pretty much won or had the chance to win a Premiership (apart from lol@souths who were charitably given one)

Over that same 20 year period, there has been 7 different minor premiers, with Melbourne and the Roosters claiming 12 of those.

Remarkable is it not and yet they tell us that that the salary cap is working, off course it’s working it’s working for the likes of Penrith, Cronulla ,St George ,Warriors, Titans ,Manly, Parra, Souths, Bulldogs, WTigers, it’s ironic that likes of Canterbury Cronulla tigers all have issues with salary cap but the likes of Melbourne and the a Roosters don’t.

Well they can’t do it without Smith the last time he didn’t play in the Grand Final they lost Manly 40 nil.

Yet only 3 times have those 2 teams gone on and won the premiership after finishing minor premiers.

if the minor premiership actually meant anything, then more than 5 minor premiers may have won the premiership in those 20 years.

great examples, the boards of those teams have been proven to be inept and useless, throw in clubs like manly, parra, dragons, titans who have had more in-house problems than actually trying to run a football club, and you may see why success is so scarce at those clubs.

systematic cheating on all kinds of levels be it salary cap, back ending contracts, or drug use, overpaying hacks to long term deals, yet fans want to blame the nrl for their own clubs failures.

That's got Cronulla written all over it.
