Now lets be realistic.

We've got two highly paid players leaving the club already, and Priddis may be leaving, freeing up a lot of money to spend.

Now if Priddis leaves, i don't think we need a hooker and we have Ryan Rolfe, Aaron Barba, and Paul Aiten that can fill his shoes, but he will prove a huge void!

Now Fatz will go straight into Gird's centre position if we resign him, which i hope we will.

Now our backline is set, once we resign Amos as well. Ben Ross will go into the starting line up for Bangers, leaving two bench places.

I'd like to see us go after Glenn Morrison and put Waterhouse back on the bench and use him as a Front Rower again. Also we must invest in another Prop.

I don't know who is coming off contract in the prop's department but we need one to come off the bench.

The team I'd like to see:

1. Wesser
2. Roberts
3. Whaitura
4. Lewis
5. Rooney
6. Campbell
7. Gower
8. Ross
9. Rolfe
10. Clinton
11. Puletua
12. Galuvao
13. Morrison

14. Waterhouse
15. Rodney
16. Swain
17. Pritchard

I reckon Pritchard will bulk up a bit in the off season and really play a prop role for us.

Plus we got Jason Wrigley in premier league waiting for a run, plus Jesse Royale.

I reckon we try for a reliable goal kicker. Sure we have Presto but do we have any one as reliable as Presto as backup?

Jason Wrigley I think will wrapped up one bench spot left by Marty's departure and Ben Ross's inclusion in the starting line-up. The 2nd spot will come down to Frank Pritchard or David McLean or Danny Galea.

First things first, lets resign Priddo, Rossy and Roberts before worrying too much about next year's team.

Doesn't McLean go alright at Hooker? He would be my first choice. McLean will stand up and he is a very solid player. He is another kicker choice. ;-) I am hoping there will be somewhere in our line-up for McLean.

Also the kickers that I am aware of that we have on the Panthers side are: Preston, Roberts, Rodney, Rooney (I am sure he use to kick goals) as well as McLean that i mentioned above and of course Snowy.

to be honest, we need someone smaller and faster thatn McLean at hooker.

Priddis is quick and stong for his size, whereas McLean isn't.

Roberts can kick goals so can Rodney.
It would be good to have Morrison but he cant take Waterhouses spot and put an Australian rep on the bench.

True Big Mick, but he's playing like a third second rower, which is just as good. All he has to do is lock the scrum, and apart from that, he can do what he wants on the field. Satts was like a second five-eighth with all the plays he set up for the forwards.

The 'house is on fire this year!

yeah but he aint no satts is he.

You cant compare Waterhouse to Satts but thats the thing. He is a completely different player.

I've been very impressed with Waterhouses form this year, he has been playing some great footy.

Glenn Morrison would be good. I dont know if playing for a Qld team puts him in the back of the minds of the NSW selectors, so he may wish to play for a NSW team to better his chances at playing more rep games.
Twenty Knights are coming off contract this year. Adam Woolnough might be a name we could look at Big Mick. He's a quick back rower; possible lock material.
But anyway if we dont get anyone I personally think Trent is doin well at lock at the moment.

lol

I'd laugh if that happens, but I truely doubt it Big Artie, I truely doubt it.

I heard ur guys are letting ricketson go, thats a bold move.

I think he'd look good as a panther.

yeah but at lock u need someone mobile and is like a second five-eight, not a third second rower.

Well it seems to be working for us this year so lets leave it like that. Waterhouse is getting picked in rep sides so he must be doing something right.
