You can bag Vince all you want, but look at the stars he's made that others have rejected.
Austin, Foley, Jericho, Undertaker, Hall and Nash all had WCW chances and were thrown away because they didn't 'have it'. Look at their WWF/E runs, and you'll see otherwise.
Then you've got the amount of stars he's made himself: Bret and Owen Hart, Shawn Michaels, Brock, Angle, the Rock, Edge & Christian and a whole heap more. There are so many guys he has made, that for the few blokes you think should have gotten their chance, there are a lot more that did get their chance, and Vince deserves a lot more credit for that than he gets.
Without Vince, we probably wouldn't have pro wrestling today, we'd have WCW crowning David Arquette a triple crown champion and Goldberg on a 2000 match winning streak, trying to break the 3000 match streak he had before, but was unfortunately broken by Hulk Hogan and the nWo with some underhand measures. You may also find Jericho, Benoit, Booker T and many more current WWF stars wrestling meaningless matches against the Cat, Disco Inferno and Glacier in nothing Nitro filler matches before Hogan and Nash get their 20 minute interview sets, but that's only if their absolute lack of care for their talent hasn't seen them follow the path of Bret Hart and retire from the sport.
So next time you go and give Vince sh!t somewhere, think about how many times he's hit the mark, and you'll find that its a heck of a lot more times than the stuff ups he's had. It's a shame, but not every wrestler can make it, not everyone can be popular and successful. It's the way it goes.
