Wests Tigers centre Blake Ayshford remains a chance to play against the North Queensland Cowboys at Dairy Farmers Stadium on Saturday night in round five of the Telstra Premiership.
Ayshford suffered a strained right knee in the dying seconds of the win over Canberra last Sunday. He was named in the team by coach Tim Sheens on Tuesday after undergoing scans.
Blake trained well with the team on Thursday night. It is now a case of seeing how Blake recovers, said Wests Tigers Football Operations Manager Alan Mair.
If he is to right to play, he will take his spot in the team. If not, Geoff Daniela will replace him.
Mair also said prop Junior Moors has travelled to North Queensland in replace of the injured Keith Galloway. Sheens is yet to decide who will replace Galloway in the starting side.
Prop Jason Cayless was not considered due to injury (boil on his groin).
