Why do you go on about NFL?

I am baffled. Why do we have threads on here about NFL - a totally alien game from an alien culture? At the same time there is a discussion on here about some god-forsaken NFL side, the Australian one-day cricket team is notching up a great win in India.
And who was man of the match - Michael Clarke. The same Michael Clarke who is a mad-keen Tigers fan. This is what Cricinfo said about Michael’s performance in the great win last night:
Michael Clarke is a batting great of the future – as he showed today, and has shown earlier in the tournament as well, he has the ice-cold nerves of Michael Bevan, the audacity of Ricky Ponting, and a footwork against spin which surpasses that of any of his team-mates. His left-arm spin is handy, too.

Cricket is a terrible sport. I cant understand how people can sit there and watch it for hours.

wash out your mouth out you filthy bastard! Cricket is a truly great sport that manages to strain out the weak and ignorant by employing the "boring" aspects of the sport, such as taking ten minutes for something to happen. I can't understand how people critisize cricket. I mean, what is there to dislike?

hey! The bengals aren't god forsaken!!!! If anything they are the biggest pack of jesus lovers in the world. Seriously, the way they carry on about thanking god and jesus for their talent and for having a good game, you'd think they were actually doing something half important. You can't read an interview without their homie Jesus getting a wrap.

As for your little Michael Clarke propaganda machine, don't you have better things to do? Like maybe promote, Simon "the man" Crean, a little? Or has that just been given up on all together?

Since when are cricket and NFL in competition with each other? For what it's worth, I enjoy both. And the cricket-types can't be complaining about the protective gear the NFL players utilise; cricketers wear more than any other sport in the world, mostly to avoid mere bruising (apart from the helmet). NFL players are in in a full body-contact sport, risking broken bones and worse.
