Im hearing rumours saying ben smith to leave parra eels and blake austin to leave penrith and join the eels. I hope it happens because i have not seen one thing thats good in regards to Austin in mu opinion his crap. We should let him go as well as Tom humble and go for harry Sejka because he has been released from the warriors. No need to go for sam williams or mitch rein i think we should go for either Reni Maitua or Anthony Tupou or Harry Sejka again. All of them are good impact players in my opinion and would be a reliable buy at the right PRICE because their all better then Austin

Ok, and you come back to us when Siejka makes an impact and plays good in first grade. We'll see who comes back to who first.

i hope we learned something from wade graham who now is starting to mature and become a real good footballer i see Austin the same.He has all the skills far greater than any of our current forwards and will only get better

Definitely not a Penrith supporter.

mate im a massive passionate and loyal panther fan but i dont see anything special in Blake Austin, he has no size or brings no impact if he was playing good why hasnt he been pushed into first grade just like isaac john and matt moylan

Maple give him a chance his is a huge step up from panther boy. Panthers boy was baned in all the other supporter forums and eventually ours as well

I agree Murray I think Blake will definitely be another Wade Graham once he finds a position in the back row. Sadly, he is going to have to leave the Panthers to find a home. The emergence of Docker and signing of Taylor ( and Cartwright coming thru) means there is no spot or position for him here. I hope he finds a good home as he is a good kid with huge potential once he fills out a bit further and his frame is big enough for his move to the back row. I hope it works out for Blake even if it is not with us.

I would like to see prince Harry back at the Panthers, But, not at the expense of Blake!

I would bring Harry back as long as he is only in the tier two cap and therefore back up. It would then be up to Harry to deliver on the potential he showed as a junior. I still think he could develop into a NRL number 7 behind a quality forward pack which we will have in 2014 and beyond.

Is Eljiah Taylor better than Austin?

I don't know only time will tell. Taylor is already proven at the top level and has been pretty impressive from what I have seen in last four weeks for the Warriors. Blake on the other hand is still unproven but as we saw with Wade Graham just needs a real opportunity to show what he can do. I am happy to retain him provided there is a plan for him otherwise it would be in the best interests of the club and Blake to allow him the opportunity to further his career elsewhere, just like Wade.

He hasn't been mentioned in NSW Cup teams or called up to NRL because he has had a long term ankle injury. I still think he's worth hanging on to though. He's very young and still developing. If we punted everyone who didn't star in the first NRL game/s we'd be stuffed. Can't imagine he's commanding too much salary wise.
