I know we want him to be injury free to play his best for Parra but tell me why does he get overlooked by the selectors he is such a great player and deserves to be part of the Australian side. If I was picking the team he would be my first pick, he has so much heart and gives his all everytime he plays.Whats wrong with these selectors do they have blinkers on.

No doubt his defensive game is as good as anyone. He's not being selected because of his attacking/running game. He doesn't compare to Lewis, Thaiday, Gallen or Watmough in this part of the game anymore.

I think when Hindy puts on that Aussie jersey his pride and love of the game makes him give all at any cost. His tackle count is awesome , his stamina is awesome, he is a man that never gives up and no one gets past him. Hindy is the greatest role model for all the young boys playing junior rep footy today he is a great inspiration .I vote ONE for HINDY to play rep footy again.

You might find that hindmarsh also offloads quite abit which is another trait he has. The selectors know didly hence the scoreline against the kiwis ! Hayne didnt see the ball all night which is ridiculous ! They attacked down inglis' side which is potent but ffs change it up abit! The guy on the other side is a dally m medalist! He can produce something special but no !!!! tim sheens blinker bastard and the melb storm connection thought they could run the show ! DIDNT WORK HEEEELLLLLLLOOOOO !!!

First 20 min of the game seemed to be the melb storm game, smith to cronk to inglis to slater, next tackle smith to cronk to inglis. next tackle smith to cronk who kicks to slater ffs!

That's why i wanted the Kiwis to win, with an exceptional performance by Hayne.

I just cant handle the Melb storm and their grubby cheating players. :(

Lucky Thaiday threw the miracle pass or it could have been the 2nd biggest embarassment for the year.

I didn't think there would be much in it.

Hindmarsh is ten times better then any of these lest he tackles player doesnt miss to many like these others .Tonite they played like girls couldnt tackle letting kiwis through not defence running ball up soft.:?

Hayne didn't involve himself either.

Cam Smith injured... If gringlis also got injured they'd almost be under the cap this weekend lol

I thought Hayne did actually try to invovle himself. Came in from wing and tried to chase bombs centre field to no avail. Only time Lyon got the ball was when he made a semi break in the first half, and Hayne wasnt there because he went infield to have a run the play before.

All of Australia played bad expect for Thaiday and Ignlis, the halfs werent creating oppurtunitys and that shows in the scoreline.

Hindy retired from rep footy didn't he? While I'm sure he'd come back if asked, and he probably should play for NSW, that's probably why

he said he was going to last year, never handed in the formal request, and recently admitted he would have regretted it for the rest of his life, he says he's a long time retired, blah blah blah. will play at age 40 if they give him a jumper now.

When you can a star studded line up you don't need 80 minute workhorses in your side. It's a shame for Hindy, but having a guy like Hindy in the origin side the selectors may se as a waste of a spot when they can choose 4 to 5 impact backrowers each able to play 40 to 50 minutes and thats all.

Defence wins Origins.
Queensland forward pack is always full of great defenders (Dallas Johnson, Trevor Gillmestier, Fatty, Bobby Linder, etc)
Queensland select players suited to origin and thats why they have won the last 4 years. NSW on the other hand seem to pick thier forward pack based on attack not defence, Watmough is a example of that. You pick one or 2 players like that and have great defenders around them and get away with it but youy can't have 5 players like that and not get shown up. Were NSW were sucessful last they had players like Hindy, Fitzgibbon, Ricketson, Ryan, Kennedy ( was also a very good attacker) they were all great defenders and were picked along side each other and NSW were hard to beat.
Doesn't matter how many trys you can score if you can't stop the other them scoring them because they will just score more than you in the end.
Qld have a few injuries and if the NSW selectors can't pick a team to beat them this year and they surely have to step down and give someone else a go at picking a team.

See, I think last year showed you do need that 80 minute workhorse. The impact guys are all well and good, but the workhorse provides stability and allows for even more impact off the bench. Not to mention the work ethic and defensive muscle that Hindy would bring....I think that if Hindy had played last year we'd have gone a lot closer to winning it back from QLD
