YES , i have SEEN , souths win GF in my lifetime. I was at the 1967,68 , 70 and 71 GF wins for Souths and suffered the pain of the 69 GF loss to Balmain . If a diehard means attended most games during those years and also most games in the 1970s/80s and GOLD member of Souths , YES i am a diehard , with memories of a champion team and pain that goes with following a team trying to recapture champion status.If diehard means not following any other team since and not reading any Telegraph/cancelling foxtell when Souths were stupidally kicked out , YES i am a diehard.
Frankly , NRL means nothing to me , if there is NO Souths.
get it , the only jokers to me are the ones who fail to understand the real passion of Souths supporters. the laugh is on you , for failing to understand real passion.
