Why we struggle for sponsors

What is disappointing is the amount personal abuse directed at people on the board and others, by people who don't. Volunteer for Positions or stand for them

There are a few people on here, myself included, who have had positions in the junior league and know how viperish that is, let alone at the district club when everyone else knows everything ( and nothing) and is prepared to hammer you even before a decision or full information is available

I wil say it, I think it's really childish to keep calling the President a plumber and carry on like at kindy school, have a go yourself if you think you can handle it and have the skills to succeed . You seem to think it's easy

I got sick of the bitching and moaning and said to all the whingers "if you've got anything to say or whinge about, get on the committee and fix it rather than whinging" and it worked

Big difference between our cricket club and the Eels tho but you get the gist of it.

Same thing happened at my touch club. People were whinging about the way things were run. One person was louder than most and was stirring up everyone else. President said he was willing to stand down and let this person take over. He quickly changed his tune and doesn't whinge anymore
