Can somebody please tell me why is it that when the Sharks are getting beaten at Home, that so many Season Seat holders leave before the game has finished? I don't understand why these people take the soft option when the Sharks players have to stay out on the field for the full 80 minutes when they are getting beaten. The players don't have the option of 'leaving early'. During the last home game against Penrith, I heard one Season Seat holfer say that he was leaving early to go down stairs to wait for the Panthers to score another try so that he could get a soft serve ice-cream for his kids at the discount price! I think that some of our Season Seat holders need to harden the f#ck up!

Really?

I thought they left the game pretty early actually.

They left the game very early against Souths too.

Mate, I am a season ticket holder in the ET stand.
Once I scan my card through the gate my attendance is recorded for the match day attendance figure.
I go grab a bite to eat and a beer or 2 from behind the stand.
I go up to my seat and watch the game, if they are getting flogged why wouldn't I leave 10 mins early to avoid the 1/2 hour crawlfest that is the carpark????

Edit: This also depends on who I have at the footy with me. If I am there with mates then yeah we'll wait it out and go to the club for a beer afterwards, but if I am there with my 4 year old son then its off to the car we go.

How do you know the people leaving are season seat holders? Have you been asking them all as they file past you?

It happens. But at least when we're getting flogged there's an excuse for it. At the Parramatta game last week, there were Parra supporters filing out with 5 minutes to go...with Parramatta looking almost certain to score to win the f**king game. It absolutely blew my mind. Meanwhile, I had an aisle seat and couldn't see past their stream of weakness.

Families leaving early I can understand. Who want to be stuck in the car with whinging kids.

Kimmorely I understood leaving early too. he had to get home to the internet to make the Sharks had transferred his pay for that day.

Anderson had to leave early after night games because he's scared of anything black.

But i cannot understand why anybody of beer drinking age just doesnt go over to the club & sink a few prior to leaving. Its always fun.

those opposition merch vans will come in handy when you're cold and want a fire to keep you warm, plenty of shyte to burn or the back up toilet paper option

It's called humour DS.
You should try it, sometimes you laugh and release endorphins which make you happy, maybe even lower your blood pressure and stress levels.

Oh ok you understood the sentence.

Fair enough.

Just let me know what you found so funny.

Once they have paid then they can do whatever they want.

I agree with Reefy though, unless you got some little ones heading over to the leagues after a game is always a good time, even after a loss.

Frenzy, I have been a season seat holder in my current seats for 4 years (I have had Season Seats since 1989) I talk to those people who sit around me, other people tell me that they are Season Seat holders and others you can see them wearing the lanyards around their necks holding the Season Seat passes. All that I am saying, and I should have clarified this in my original posting, is that staying around until the very end when the Sharks get beaten makes the next victory that much sweeter. The other concern I have is what does it say about us as a club when Season Seat holders walk out on their team when we are getting beaten or when the going gets tough?
