I had no idea Dean Widders did so much for the community and for rugby league. I think it's a real shame that a lot of the good stuff isn't given enough publicity. All we ever hear about is "alcohol binge" and "sex scandal" these days. The media should recognize that there are some players out there who do put a lot back into the game. It's terrific that the NRL rewards this however, congratulations Dean.
