I don’t think it’s the fans fault Taylan May should be suspended

It does set a precedent. That was for an off-field matter however.

I'm expecting to see some hand waving from the NRL. I don't actually care much because it would ruin the prelim if either of those two were ruled out.

Walsh will get Striking/Contary Contact Grade 1 which will be a fine

Carrigans was pretty bad but they’ll give him a grade 2 careless high tackle and 1 game

look below, they’ll say Reece was minimal force, low risk of injury and careless

Walsh won’t be suspended, they might even give Carrigan a grade 1. Hoskins on the other hand….

What did Walsh and Luai get for their Origin headbutt trade?

From memory, a fine?

Carrigan gone tho.

Lengthy suspensions if they played for Knights/Tigers/Dragons/Titans but they don’t so the NRL will probably pin a medal on them and give them high fives.

Can you explain how this Knight's player didn't receive any suspension then?

Carrigan's hit was as close to identical as to what Wighton got 4 weeks for that you will see. Even worse because it was shoulder to the head and not a head clash. Probably just cops a fine though because NRL.

The issue with Walsh is that he has priors (two shoulder charges), so even a Grade 1 Striking Charge will result in a 4 Week suspension ala Victor Radley circa 2023.

Then again Curran had four priors and the NRL have only considered one of them so maybe they'll turn a blind eye here.

Best case for Carrigan, and admittedly I'm clutching at straws is if he argues that it was a head clash and tries the Taylan May defence.
