Two years in the career of a modern day Rugby League player is nothing. Brett Stewart was out for basically two years, and now it's as if he never left. My only fear as a Manly supporter is that he'll become disillusioned with the sport, like his brother and become reluctant to return to professional footy. But, it's all entirely up to him. He should be congratulated for making such a decision, "God only knows" what he'll do in 2013.

Regarding 2011, I can't see a problem with rotating the two? It's inevitable that one of Wolfie, Lyon, Matai, Hoppa or Oldfield will succumb to an injury/ies as the season progresses. This is the 'benefit' of having depth.

I'm no fan of organised religion, but I admire any individual who values his conviction over the almighty dollar.

Considering his talent (He is on track to be one of the games true superstars), it's a choice that most, including myself, probably wouldn't have taken.

I doubt he'll play for us again. Some club with a sh*t roster and cash to burn will take a huge gamble on him.

he said today that he will come back to us as Manly is his home and he does not want to ever play against Manly

HAVE FUN WITH T-REX AND DOUCHEBAG DAVID WILLIAMS.

Did Williams get one away in your missus or something?
You seem to preoccupy yourself with taking potshots at him any chance you get. Hate to tell you but despite your personal hatred for him he's actually a good winger.
Maybe you've got a man crush and its confusing you so you lash out. Talk to someone about it and you'll feel better.;-)
I can't wait for the amazingly witty reply about how I must be gay....

His ability to return to the game wull depend on what training he does n that period. NRL players train for 12 months of the year. Even the players out injured are doing rehab and lifting weights.

he certainly wont be competitive in the first year back.
