Two years in the career of a modern day Rugby League player is nothing. Brett Stewart was out for basically two years, and now it's as if he never left. My only fear as a Manly supporter is that he'll become disillusioned with the sport, like his brother and become reluctant to return to professional footy. But, it's all entirely up to him. He should be congratulated for making such a decision, "God only knows" what he'll do in 2013.
Regarding 2011, I can't see a problem with rotating the two? It's inevitable that one of Wolfie, Lyon, Matai, Hoppa or Oldfield will succumb to an injury/ies as the season progresses. This is the 'benefit' of having depth.
