Tahu is on 74 tries.

Robbie O is the clubs top try scorer with 75.

One thing is for sure - Tahu will have the record before the season is very old.

and he will keep it for a very long time - or until Kurt Gidley takes it off him.

I'll make a bold guess and go with NO.

He might score a try or two even, but I reckon Robbie will be keen to keep that record under his belt for as long as possible ;-)

My tip:

Tahu to score one try, but O'Davis will score too.
Following the game, Tahu will decide he has had enough of football because he wants to pursue his long-time passion for canoe-building.

By 2009, Tahu will have been part of the winning team in the South American canoe-building competition in the Former Rugby League player-turned canoe-builder division.

You heard it first here.

I can see Michael Ennis going close to getting the Knights try scoring record, if breaking it, if a few key things happen.

Those being:

He stays with the Knights long term

He gets plenty of first grade games

He keeps improving at the same rate

how many ahs kurt go

Kurt's still on 15, so it'll be at least 6-7 years before Kurt takes the record, if Tahu stays at the club, as Tahu is 59 in front now.

My Kurt comment was just a joke - with Tahu scoring around 20 a season and still being very young - I can't see anyone ever beating him. He may end up with 200 tries if all goes well for him for the rest of his career.

I expect Kurt will average a try every couple of games during his career (he should score more to lift his average now he is a regular firstgrader), but Tahu goes close to a try a game when in his best form.

Yeah, I think T will hold the record for a very long time once he gets it, which will be very soon!!!

they showed beforethe game against the drgaons a stat id never thought of, adn it was conversion percentage, as in tries per career divided by number of games, blaclock has the highest with 81% or theere abouts and tahu 2nd with 80%

I think Tahu and Robbie will both try and battle it out. I'm pretty sure with Tahu being young he will break Robbies record... just not sure it will be on Friday night.
