BRONCOS were booted from a famously raucous Cancun pub for bawdy behaviour during their nine-day bender at the Mexican holiday mecca.
About a dozen Brisbane NRL players and two women were ejected from popular nightspot Senor Frog's on Thursday, forcing them to continue their afternoon binge back at their hotel.
Among those at the drinking session were prop Joel Clinton and outside backs Jharal Yow Yeh and Steve Michaels.
About six members of the group had each laid down $A44 for an all-you-can-drink special when they arrived at the pub about 1pm.
After their mates turned up about an hour later, some members of the group began undressing and leaping from the venue's deck into the lagoon below.
Staff from Senor Frog's described the scene to The Sunday Mail, saying the group had videotaped their antics.
"They stripped (to their underwear) and started jumping off the balcony," day manager Gustavo Castillo said.
He told them: "No more open bar and you need to leave and get some siesta."
Mr Castillo said the players apologised and left peacefully as directed.
Senor Frog's is popular with young single revellers and once hosted the Playboy Playmate cast of US television show The Girls Next Door.
Big names from the sporting world, including Mike Tyson and Tiger Woods, have also been there.
After the Broncos were turfed out last week, they kept drinking poolside at the Oasis Cancun, where The Sunday Mail tracked them down.
Senior players Clinton, Peter Wallace, Aaron Gorrell, Michaels and Yow Yeh were among the players seen drinking by the hotel pool with an unidentified blonde woman.
The 1744-room resort is sprawled across about 2km of Caribbean beachfront, and includes an open bar in its daily room rate.
That means alcoholic drinks are free around the clock for registered hotel guests.
About two dozen players were on the trip, but several of the club's biggest stars – including skipper Darren Lockyer, Justin Hodges and Sam Thaiday – did not attend because they are in camp with the Australian team to play in the upcoming Four Nations.
AFL-bound fullback Karmichael Hunt also declined to attend.
The players returned to Senor Frog's later Thursday night and by about 10.30pm, a heavily drunk Steve Michaels was seen staggering across the pub floor as the team's minder ushered him home.
Broncos management sent a security guard with the group to Cancun after a run of off-field indiscretions, stretching back to last year's alleged ***** scandal at a nightclub in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley.
In April this year, Michaels and teammate Kenny were fined $2000 for urinating in public, while Clinton was fined $50,000 and stood down from a match in June for taking a woman into his hotel room during a trip.
Oasis Cancun resort security logs seen by The Sunday Mail show no formal complaints linked to their rooms.
The team leave Cancun today.
