Will they play?

6 Bulldogs *could possibly* be arrested.

Will it happen before Saturday?

Will they get released on bail?

Can they play if they are allowed to?

Will the Dogs management let them play?

Personally, i want them all on the bloody field, whoever they might be, innocent or guilty. I want the best Dogs team they can muster, or else it's a shallow 2 points. 2 points nonetheless, but I wanna get it against the best the Blue and Whites can put on the park!

I believe Bulldogs management have stated that should any player be arrested and charged, they would be stood down.

Are you serious HJ? Where did you hear/read this?

Either way, we can only play what's infront of us on the day. The rest shouldn't be our concern.

My understanding is that of the 6 players accused, two *may* be arrested. They are waiting for a seventh player, who was a witness, to clear up some details.

of course, if people had checked out certain newspaper web sites on sunday, a couple of the players were actually named!

The Bulldogs lost 2 sponsors today. Lysaght withdrew $150,000 shorts sponsorship and Bing Lee withdrew $500 000 sleeve sponsorship.

Can't blame them.

hey fish!! how ya doing??

I don't believe we should be speculating or anticipating whether certain players in the opposition should be playing at this stage it shouldn't even be an issue, there are 2 things we should be thinking about and that is

1] what the alleged victom is going through at the moment.

2] our mental and physical capacity to take on a team that historically thrives on performing on adversity, this is a deadset danger game and must treat it like a grand final.

I heard on the radio that the matter is being referred to the Director of Public Prosecutions meaning::: that THEY will decide IE the DPP if there is a case to answer. If there is then the Police arrest and charge any offenders. Even then all Bulldogs are innocent until proven guilty.

the longer this goes on the more and more worse it will get. If they find the players innocent from any charge bulldogs name will forever be labelled rapists or anything else people can think of, not to mention the players whose names will be dragged through the mud for nothing if they are not charged. People wont think of them the same way again, they may be abused in the street and people will alwayz remember them not for what they have done in their football career but what they supposedly did off the field

Yes but usually if people are arressted in matters such as sexual assault, they can be held in custody, until bail hearings, and often bail is set rather high. Either way. If someone is charged, they won't be playing in the NRL while they are out on bail, you can be asured of that.

I know what quote you mean and I think that it may well not be appropriate for this forum.

Funny though
