Let me guess.

Anyone who follows a team that can't make the 8 will vote Pretenders and anyone who can still win it will vote Real Deal.

Personally, I think it's the real deal as Melbourne are fielding an illegal team and wouldn't have that all conquering squad if they weren't cheating, hence they shouldn't be given a second thought.

There have been a couple of threads on this and the answer is real deal. The team that wins the comp this year will have proven themselves to be the best legal side in the NRL.

I don’t care if the Storm have some of the best players in the comp, they cheated and deserve everything they got.

This thread seems to suggest that the Storm are the benchmark. They cheated. Any other club could have attempted t deliberately cheat and would've won comps before getting caught.

The last 4 years of the NRL are tainted, illegitimate, and have been affected by untoward circumstances.

Whoever wins it this year deserves to win. The Storm, on the other hand, deserve nothing and should be banned from playing in the NRL for the same amount of time as they deliberately tainted our comp.
