Will Vella get upgrade with Parra too?

I admit that Vella has been playing well in the last couple of months but in saying that he does not deserve the money that he is on. In my opinion I see better players in Cordoba and Tsoulos.

The way Cordoba plays reminds me of Mark Omeley and he even has the name to back it up..... CORDOBA!!!!!!!!

He should be offered a contract, but a reduced one. His form isn't deserving to stay on the money he is currently on, and Vella should realise that.

I think he should be resigned, but not upgraded.

Resign him but put in incentives.

ie . score a try get $2000 or new eye lashes.
make 20 tackles in a game get $5000 or breast implants
you know something to make him work harder

after about 70% of our games this season, someone comes on this forum and says "wow, vella finally had an excellent game!"

with all our player retention squabbles, the least we can do is try to sign up all our current stars who have been with the club a long time who are truly first grade standard

Vella has been playing well since id season, and the Pizza episode. However, he has been crap in the previous 2 seasons, save the 2002 semi v Brisbane. He has showbn he has the talent, but not the consistency. His cointract should reflect that, because his price on the open market will.

maybe that was cause he was injured and this year is the first in 2 years where he has been able to play without any injury holding him back

A lot of players are "Parra at heart".

But if they don't perform, why have them on the payroll.
