There is no denying our history of a few players dipping into illicit drugs with the more recent wicks and housten saga.

I am slightly concerned that there may be some implications for us in this investigation. The investigators have names of players, coaches and staff who have been involved with illegal doping activities which is usually obtained via organised crime syndicates.

There was a lot of recorded telephone conversations in the Danny Wicks saga that may have implicated some of our players..

The one thing that makes me feel we will get out of this unscathed is the fact that over the last few years we have played like a bunch of busted asses who could not keep up with other teams, generally fading in the last 20 minutes while other teams ran rampant. If our players were on some sort of performance enhancing drugs then this fading out wouldnt have occured.. If our players were on performance enhancing drugs then they didnt work.

You would be naive to think that no person involved in any professional sporting organisation is not involved in something that could be described as a PED.

You would also have to believe in Santa Claus.

You can never be 100% sure. I am of the opinion we will be fine. Wayne actually has said in The papers today he does not allow any unauthorised people into camp ie. so called performance enhancement gurus like this fella Manly and Essendon hired. Manly have serious question marks about them headed their way. They may have no case to answer. The mud sticks however.

We've been running off the smell of an oily rag forever and we've had little success over the past few years. I highly doubt we could afford it and results sure as hell are nothing to get suspicious over.

It's the wealthier clubs who can consistently stay up the top of the pack that I'm more worried about, 1 has already been caught cheating and there's at least 2 other that I can think of who fit that description.

For what it's worth I doubt it's anything to do with you guys. You've been so shit for so long that if any Knights had been taking PEDs, they should be demanding a refund. Pretty much why I'm not worried about the Raiders either.

The way I interpreted the news reports this morning was that we were just the first clubs that the Auditors came to. Whether that means we are more likely to be in the wrong than other clubs I dont know. I hope not. I do know for sure that we are clean now unless players are getting the stuff behind the coaching staffs backs.
