THE list of NRL clubs is fast running out for big Willie Mason with the Sea Eagles confirming he won’t be coming to Brookvale in 2010.
Rumours surfaced during the week that the unwanted Rooster was on his way to the northern beaches.
With a long line of clubs knocking him back, it was believed Manly could accommodate the fallen hero.
“I’m sure he’s looking to come here, but he’s not,” Eagles CEO Graham Lowe told us.
A Sea Eagles insider tells us Mason would have to play for nothing, if a move did eventuate, with the club making full use of its $4.1million salary cap for the year ahead.

Why would your mob sign Willie? I thought the retention of Anthony Watmough was of a greater priority for the Eagles than anything else.
