He is 30 and the first centre picked for the wold club champions. He is the best defensive centre in England and is a harder runner than Ben Smith.

So we sign up Talau, and let go a youngster :sarcasm: Have a look at Juda's, best player in England by far. IMO he has been pretty ordinary this year. The standard of the ESL terrible.

When you check his age check the form he has been in the last 3 years. Along with Lyon when he was there ,he has been their best performed back, I would have him in a heartbeat he is no junior langi or vaeleki.

in all honesty I haven't been following that comp very closely and I'm sure he's only 30 and playing quite well but I'd be absolutely gobsmacked if we were actually looking at him.

No I would not sign him if it meant losing Ben or another promising outside back, but if he came at not much cost I would love to have him because he is hard and experienced and next year we will have very little depth or experience in the centres. I will tell you one thing he would not make the terrible reads in defence that Tahu has constantly made this year always leaving Jarryd with 2 men coming at him. I really believe Tahu is amoung the top 3 attacking centres in the game and in the bottom three in defence. Not his one on one but his ability to read the play and leave his winger stranded.
