Win over the Storm

A good win over one of the toughest sides in the comp to beat.

I missed the first half, but from what I saw Luke had another cracker of a game. Our forwards had good go ahead and Sutton and Sandow gave good direction and played well.

Sutton looked menacing at times when he ran the ball, a good game from him.

We still blew some opportunities to close out the game, which has been a recurring issue, altough the storm had opportunities to win also and we either held them or they bombed it.

A good time for the bye to work our attack in their 20 metre area.

While our forwards were very solid, I think our backs performed well probably Colin Best's, best game this year, Sandow looked very menacing however I still cant work out why Sutto is not the one putting up the bombs as Chris just looks too rushed and dose'nt have the accuracy of Sutton. Sandow should concentrate on the little grubbers and chips for himself where he is dangerous. Talanoa had a very strong game in attack but was a little shaky under the high ball and great to see Sutton taking on the line with strong runs and his big step.

Issac Luke was fantastic his strength in staying on his feet with defenders all over him is incredible. Things are looking good I just hope the players dont get carried away after a few wins and start going off early...... again.

Great win and vital. Watched it with some of my boys who support other teams and they made me proud.

Now we need some consistency!!!
