Well they are going to take the roof off :?

"WIN Stadium’s damaged western grandstand roof will come down, the state government has confirmed today. In a press conference this afternoon, Minister for the Illawarra Greg Pearce said a decision on exactly when the structure would be taken down would be made in January.
‘‘The roof will come down and be rebuilt to Australian industry standards with safety being our number one objective,’’ he said.
Mr Pearce and Minister for Sports Graham Annesley said a new design for the grandstand was being finalised.

Reading between the lines on the above article I get the impression that the fault lays with the design.

Either way - no roof does not mean no games

Actually no roof might be a good thing - the Dragons can just get on with next season schedule while the venue authority works out what to do, then fix it late next year.

press release a bit worrying, ... rebuilt to Australian Standards ...
Should have been from the start?
