Didn't Smithy say to someone that he was chasing Brent Tate. Could be a swap?

I was thinking that, but then why would the Broncos want to swap a current Origin/International centre for a rookie half when they already have a promising rookie half in Seymour? Seems highly unlikely.

I'd very much doubt that Tate would leave the Broncs...can't see it happening.

Smithy actually told me about going after Tate!

But I say we've got as much chance as Ian Roberts and Ellen De'Generis getting it on!!

Witt's rumour was also on 702 ABC on Sunday night.

They were saying that he has a get-out clause in his contract if he wants to move back home closer to his family in queensland (brisbane). This report was from another source so i'm not sure how accurate it is. I hope he satys at parra cause he will do great things for you in the next 2 years or so. I'm not sure is he will get a game . I mean brett seymour was in form like anything before he was injured.

We will be left without a playmaker, what is the point of signing Orford for a one year deal; Smiths last chance at a NRL Grand Final victory - very short sighted if you ask me.

Change your half back, change your playing style means that the last two years of rebuilding was for nothing.

Signing Orford would amount to an admission by Smith that he can't coach a team to the finals.

Dykes was going OK, Witt and Thorman gave us options, when all three go and Orford gets injured then wat do we do.

Why are we risking, Dykes, Witt, Thorman and Tim Smith?
