Wondering over Sheens

Could he be the saviour for Parra by being the one to rebuild?

I'll pay him his due and say that he did a good job in rebuilding WestsTigers and getting them competitive. Yep, even jagged a premiership for us. On the negative, he has been unable to sustain and develop that further, but we have remained competitive but not able to get the consistency etc to be a real threat more often than not. So, IMHO his time and worth at WT has reached his limit, but for a scenario that Parra find themselves in now, I reckon he should think seriously about switiching clubs. He could get his old mate Simmons on board to assist, if he wants, and go for it in a new club and mould things the way he wants.

Essentially I'm saying that if Sheens shows an interest I think WT would be wrong to say no to him. We owe him respect for what he has done here at the club and not hinder him if he wants to try things afresh.

Not going to happen.
He will just align himself with the stars in the team and keep his position because the board wouldn't want our stars leaving with him.
Humphreys is also a sackless bitch

I agree that Sheens is the sort of coach you sign on a 3 year deal then cut him loose.

His first three years here he made massive improvements to the culture, brand name, image, on field and off field performance and snuck in a premiership.

Brian Smith is the same, he can get a poor team rebuilt and into the finals in 1-2 seasons, and once he's done that, you get rid of him.

There is years of work ahead with the one team WTs state cup squad proposal, moving NYC to be based at Cambo, both Balmain & Wests jnr reps to come under the umbrella of WTs management.....Sheens has the board by the short & curlies, the only place he may be going soon is a new senior position for himself, created by himself where he is answerable only to himself

I thought Tim Sheens was our coach. Didn't realise he was a policeman.

there are plenty of worse coaches out there than sheens. if he is going to leave we had want to make sure we were getting an improvement.

I'd take our situation easily over many of the clubs in the NRL. Sheens and co have got us into this position.

Glass half full, it could be so much worse.

He has made mistakes but we are a very solid football club whilst facing some very challenging circumstances and will continue to.

I think people forgot the circumstances of our club, it wouldn't be easy dealing with the factions and limited funds.

Some other coach could easily f**k our club up, remembr that

then you end on a negative.
