Wonderland Closing Down

Very sad to here the big park is to shut its gates. I can remember getting Wonderpasses year after year for my birthday, before having it confiscated by the park for stealing one year. #-o Oops!!

I guess this will only make the Easter show an even bigger attraction. I'm sure a annual visit to the easter show will keep the ride happy folk happy for now.

I just hope they can cater for some better rides and make it affordable.
I won't hold my breathe though!

Disneyland is awesome, but who's been to Knottsberry farm? I didn't get the chance to go, but I hear it has the biggest rollercoasters

It was quite funny to read Wonderland management's various reasons for the closure. They blamed September 11, the Bali bombings, SARS, the HIH Insurance collapse, the Asian financial crisis, the collapse of Ansett, the war in Iraq, last years bushfires...... In short, they blamed everything except: poor management.

SARS my arse, if a city of 5 million can't support one theme park, it means a: the park is crap and nobody wants to go there, or b: management couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery.

It rocks. Knotsberry Farm has some huge rollercoasters, that go forwards and backwards.
