there is alot of hype over who is gunna win the superbowl, but i think it is just as hard to guess who will finish last.

the bengals are the obvious favourites just for there unique uslessness but i think the lions and the bears could have a chance to come last. i think it will be the lions who will win the wooden spoon by following on the ablsolutley discraceful 8 straight losing sreak.

hmm, nice question champ. I'm gonna say one of three clubs, to be a bit different. The New York Jets, The Atlanta Falcons, and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Neither side are offering too much this year...

big call buddy. the jets although have had a pretty rough start they were first in their division last year, but as we seen this year if the cardinals can go from ruins to riches in the off-season it may be the opposite in the jets case.

Hmmmm maybe on theJets or Jaguars but Atlanta? Once Vick is fully fit the combination with him and Finneran/Price will be unstoppable, plus he's a Quaterback and Running back rolled into one.

Cincinatti is my tip for dead last. I may have thrown Chicago in the ring, but their win over Oakland has baffled me a bit there.

This thread is just blatant Bengal-bashing. :x Anyway I think we're after another first pick. ;-)

Surely the Chargers, who are 0-5 are a good chance to finish last this year? I'd love to see Oakland win it though.

San Diego Chargers with their defence I am still amazed at how they`re 0-5, Donnie Edwards what a shame he has to go thru yet another team with a bad losing record, Chargers or Bears for mind.

It wont be the Bengals, they are actually looking a much improved team this year, particuarlly on defence.

I think it will be the Bears, they are pitiful, its almost embarrasing watching them play.

The Jets are another descent pick for the spoon simply because Vinny has got nothing and Curtis Martin is no where near good enough anymore to carry a team. If Pennington wasnt hurt the Jets would be a descent team, but they arent while Vinny is there.

Curtis Martin is like Marshall Faulk, a spent force mate. LOL, The Jets will do ok when Chad Pennington gets back in the fold.

LOL!!! i like the way u think. if the team isnt up to scratch, throw a few seasons to get some NO.1 draft picks and then go for the championship! i like it!

Wouldnt work with the Bengals ownership anyway, they are renowned for pissing off their young draftee's and not giving them a fair chance, Akili Smith springs to mind.

And I would never in 1000 years compare Curtis Martin to Marshall Faulk, Faulk would still be a top 3 or 4 running back if it wasnt for his constant injuries and Kurt Warner never recovering from last year.

you can never rule out marshal faulk. he is one of the games greats and his constant injury is keeping him from reaching full potential, which is why alot of other players/teams have had rough starts to this new season.

Faulk's spent mate, past his best. Back to the falcons, they won't get the wooden spoon, it was just a wildcard guess if ya like. Decent roster (well parts of it), but so far, disappointing.

lol......umhey Paullyboy you may wanna re think your statement, because they`ll be both going to the Hall of Fame one day....Curtis Martin in his prime WAS one of the best running backs in the league bar none sheesh mate whens the last time you seen them both play anyways? Faulk is done for after this season i`d say the Rams may extend his contract for one maybe two TWO`s pushing it.

And as for the Bungles leave em alobne they`re gunna be a rock solid unit of guys led by Carlson Palmer from next year onwards. There`s a Superbowl headed there way in the next few years with Palmer at the helm. Also on Akili Smith he was a wasted tallent, they should have given him more opportunities to proove himself.

Curtis Martin may or may not go to the Hall, but he is far from in the same company as Marshall Faulk. Marshall is one of the all time best running backs, Curtis Martin is the sort of player that is forgotten about not long after retirement. Curtis has been a very good running back, but never a great one.
