Woodford Folk Festival 2006/2007

Anyone else going this year? Top line-up as per usual, plus all the good places to eat and drink, meeting new people and some awesome markets. I can't wait to head up yet again, but due to work I can only get there for two days/one night. Anyway, some local talent on show includes:

It'll cost you your NYE plans, but I've never heard one complaint about that over the years.

i can honestly say ive never been and i live not too far away from the place in the 5 yrs of living here

I've only ever been once for NYE and it was a great experience, but it's just so hard taking too much time off work. I usually go for one night/two days early in the week. It's also the best time to see the biggest bands which is good when you are spending so much on tix these days (most of the big-name touring bands get the bigger money playing at the Falls festival for NYE).

I know a lot of people who refuse to go because of their image of unwashed hippies everywhere, but that really isn't the case. Hell, I'm far from an unwashed hippie - it's just a really cool place where you can relax with a few drinks, see some great artists and make a lot of new mates.
