Best pregame venue? Leaving bondi now with my old man (lifelong rooster) looking for a good venue for a pregame lol@souffs.

The Light Brigade and their refusal to put on the Charity Shield over Callington vs Richmond was disgraceful. Never again

Casty looks a worker. Again he looks a bit small but I couldnt fault his effort. Napa is Definitly in front of him in the pecking order tho.

Decent game. Thought we looked flat most of the game and tired at the end. Real good type of match to have before the season. Wigan's pack were up in our face most of the night. None of the pigs were standing deep enough to run onto the bloody ball.

Wigan got all of their momentum when Casty on the field, it wasn't until Moa and then eventually JWH came back on that it stopped.

Easts are now the most successful Australian team and equal with Bradford as the only 3 time winners with a 100% success rate, just another notch on the belt. Hopefully we can be the first 4 time winner sooner rather than later.

Sorta what happened at times last year as well Tone. JWH and Moa go off and we lose the momentum. LOD for another year would've really helped but I'm sure with more gametime Napa will grow into that 3rd prop rotation role.

Last night was reminiscent of round 1 last year just replace Arona with Casty. Isaac Liu's injury becomes even more important and even Wigan's first try was a carbon copy of the Merritt tries.

I hope Kane Evans develops on whatever it is the coaching staff clearly doesn't rate him in because a few teams will put us away if we give up the forward battle like that.

How long is Liu out for? Knew he was injured but not sure with the time frame for return.

Good to win but it was sloppy which is expected at this time of year. Robbo indicated lots of improvement to come. Meanwhile the souffs bandwagon is in full swing again. They have hit top form in February

The game was a foregone conclusion after 2 minutes, but the atmosphere out there was great..

I was convinced the crowd was bigger than 32 000, but didn't have the time to do my own count..

Loved the crowd singing "Easts to Win" after the game..

Go Easts..
