You gotta remember in letting those guys go we extended Sammut, Coote, Jennings, Waterhouse, Gordon, Graham, Grant, Lewis, etc. Can't have it both ways...

Yeah i get your point but the storm resigned Cronk, Inglis, Smith, Slater etc and still managed to keep depth. Broncos signed Folau may lose Hunt now but that seems non football related.

Sharks while being cash poor own the field and surrounding land. And next year have Collis, Aiton, Morris, Kelly, Wright all heading their way so have someone in recruitment working.

Tigers have the problem we had in 04, 05. Backending contracts it's a stupid practice. but that should change in 2010. Fulton comes back offered Daniela 200k a season so must have money to play with now

Canberra's problem is it's too cold. They are fine it becomes a problem when locals like Dugan, croker and co leave. What they have lost in the last few years mainly are interstate players that hate cold

Canberra is also basically a big country town and rugby league has to compete with Super 14 and the AFL (not week in, week out, but AFL has been very well marketed here).

Tigers in a no contest. We have only signed 1 player of Value and that is Ellis.

For someone to say the Tigers management is poor has poor judgement.

There is more to good management than signing players. Survival being one.

The Tigers receive minimal amounts of money form their Leagues Clubs compared to other Sydney clubs but still do OK.

Also, the Tigers have arguably the best Marketing team in the game

As a Tigers fan I applaud what the manaement have acheived.

Lifting them from basket case status to one of the most likeable brands in the game has to be respected.

It's all about identify your young nucleus and keeping them around, if you identify the wrong players then you are in trouble

You gains and losses arent even close to being right and i dont even follow the panthers. Your club dumped a lot of sh*t players brought through some new guys and bought some fringe first graders to work on...thats how football teams work dude, not everyone can do a canterbury and turn it around in 15 mins.

Yes but you's also signed Setu, Teo, Gorrell so it sort of replaced them. We however don't replace what we lose. Even our depth players go. I wouldn't so much care if we got untried or rookie in the place. Only Cooper and Emelio came into the club.

Other clubs even look at NYC for players we don't. We have even stopped recruiting from QLD Cup!!! Very Sad!!
