I've heard some covers that have turned out to be better than the original, but when a wannabe rock band/pop band tries to do a cover that's no where near as good as the original, that really sucks. :x

I saw this thing called Metallica Icon (sic.) on MTV, and it was a collection of mediocre artists doing god-awful attempts at Metallica covers. Some shockers included Avril Levigne, Limp Bizkit, Staind and the worst of all, Snoop Doggy Dogg :roll:

Utter crap.

You hear bad covers by new pop artists every day on the radio, all of them terrible.

I'll say pretty much all covers are bad, barring Faith No More's attempts.
