Worst NRL game ever?

Surely tonight's match (Eels v Panthers) takes the cake. It is the worst match I've ever seen.

There was an eels v knights game in the wet a few years ago that was pretty bad. But the conditions didn't help. Sure it was hot tonight, but that was just a bludger.

Seen worse but yeah..not a good advert for expansion.

Poor game to give Darwin, also showed the depth pool is shallow.

The Warriors were diabical too...Just one great player down....

Yes, because a game or two more like the one tonight and there may be a spate of players quitting to do something more fulfilling, like cleaning septic tanks or shaving the legs of grandmas with dementia.

A Roosters v Raiders game back in 2012 comes to mind for no reason at all.

I just remember wanting to gouge my eyes out with a pneumatic drill.

It just further cements that the gap between the top 6 sides and everyone else is pretty wide. The top 4 sides might be struggling but they're still leagues ahead of the rest.

Yet the Broncos have lost back to back games to the team coming 8th and 10th.

Yeah gutsy win over a team missing a dozen players including nearly the entire backline and captain/halfback

Souths scraped a win over them too. Then got smashed by the Sea Eagles. Putting things into perspective.

Roosters vs Titans from a few weeks ago was a f**king shocker. I'd rather push an egg up my arse and wait for it to hatch and for the chicken to eat its way out of me than to go through that again.

A poor spectacle, but there have been worse this season & as others have mentioned, lots of worse ones over the past 5 years. Both teams were without plenty of key players too & it just adds to the argument against expansion. There aren't enough quality players for for 18 teams ( you need at least 30 players & the injury lists from the current workload on players has made it tougher ).

Are you f**king serious? I have not seen anything close to this game in terms of poor quality this season.
