Worst Sharks Team To Ever Make The Semis?

I can't remember a worst Sharks squad to make the finals ever.

What do you reckon'?

Just shows how crap the Top 8 is in a comp of 15 teams.

Sharks and Manly simply don't deserve to be there and for mine it takes a lot of the shine off the achievement of making the finals and the excitement of the first week of finals football.

Still I guess we should enjoy, I think it will be a long while before we make the semis again.

the 2000 team actually lead Broncos at half time of the 1st semi, only team to leads Broncos in whole of semis, no way near worse, remember going into finals Healy was suspened and ET was out injured

At least the majority of that team was part of the '97 GF, did some good the year before and almost upset Brisbane despite key injuries to Rogers and Graham in the match...

And the components of this team aren't rubbish. Peachey, Vagana, Dykes, Kimmorley, Stevens, Nutley, Bailey and Gallen should be the nucleus of a strong team. It's the lack of coaching and a cohesive game plan that's killing them.

We have an awsome squad. We should be up in the top 2 but our structure in both attack and defence is pathetic and we will never make an impession with the current setup.
