Would the Dragons sign Finucane today?

The Dragqueens are the biggest basket case in the competition so the barometer for whether a player is completely kaput is whether they would be willing to sign them.

So, would they sign Finucane? He has declined pretty rapidly since his Storm days and has been an absolute plodder for the Sharks.

That's an interesting question.... to nobody.

Anyway, I can't stand peaches OR apricots. Along with plums and nectarines, those fruits are the pits.

Finucane in 2022 - Nice pick up. Solid and stable presence in the middle of the field.
Finucane in 2023 - Why is he still on the field?

Finucane was never been very good. Just because you’re in a good team doesn’t necessarily make you a good player.
He was the only likeable player at the Storm when he was there.

Actually the only likeable player to ever play for the Storm in their 25 years in the NRL.

Is he likeable or is he just so bland and forgettable that you forget he's there?

Hence my post stating that Finucane's possible move to the Dragons is as interesting as Greenland's GNP.

Look at some of the former and current Storm players. Rodney Howe - kicked out nearly all of the 1998 competition for anabolic steroid use. A real "star".

Fast forward to the Smith/Slater/Cronk era. Stretched the rules beyond the max and got away with it.

Now to Munster. Took the crown of NRL's most despised player from Justin Hodges, Anthony Mundine and Michael Hancock. Just a smug prick.

How can you not like Finucane compared to these jerks?

In answer to your thread title, they did not sign him yesterday, so thats a no.

Not sure they're allowed to sign him today or even tomorrow if he's under contract.
