I like the 'only if cheap' option. It is Money Bill we're talking about here :)

He would come with more baggage than Imelda Marcos. The Storm or Manly would be more fitting for the villain type role he would play on his return.

I don't understand why someone like David Gyngell would be crawling up his backside either. It makes me hate channel 9 even more than I already did.

After 3 years in Rugby Union playing outside center and getting tackled twice a game, he would be injury free and fairly fresh you would imagine. So yep you would be mad not to snap him up. Great player when on his his game, draws three to four defenders every time he has the ball. the Bullcheats have never recovered from losing him.

Cant see him coming cheap, its not like we would have any emotional pull over him.

But id love a year out of him if he was.. but I wouldn't pay top dollar for him.

Once the Roosters express interest in a player, the other clubs have no chance of landing him.

But hyperthetically speaking, I would be happy to sign him to a heavily back-ended deal... On the proviso that he retires a couple of years into the contract.

In all honestly, with the exception of Big Dell, I haven't been overly impressed with a single player that's come back from Union. That boring game seems to blunt their skills.

I think the biggest impact SBW will have on Rugby League in 2013 is slightly inflated crowds and TV ratings for his first few games, and then the Roosters fans will crawl back into the woodwork when he fails to live up to the hype.

He would be an awesome buy for the club but one I can't see happening. I have never seen a player have so much impact in a game. When he is on the team wins. Simple. When he is not on, the team struggles. A freakish player.

As for baggage? I don't think so. His previous club treated him like rubbish and there is only so much he can take until he had enough. Especially making him go out public and tell the media he had a drinking problem which he clearly doesn't.

He would be brilliant at the Saints.

Last time I checked, the Bulldogs weren't doing so hot during his last run of games in Rugby League.

no such thing as cheap with $BW... therefore no thanks.
he causes more damage to a clubs integrity off the field then value he adds on the field.

would rather buy a half back if we had that much cash free to spend...

SBW as a footballer is a very rare talent. No other forward as destructive and talented I remember fearing him whenever we came up against the dogs. If winning is everything then a player of the caliber of SBW is right at the pointy end, talk about "X Factor" this guy has it in spades. SBW as a talent rates right up there with the likes of Bradley Clyde(just my opinion) and has the running power of a Bobby Lidner.
