Too bad it was decided by a missed forward pass. Heads pass to Cooper seemed forward to me when I initially saw it..

Does there seem to be some sort of collusion between the NRL and Fox/9....why didnt we see the wide replay again of Heads pass?

I have thought many times a pass was forward, only to change my mind when viewing the replay, also the oppoisite scenario as well, have thought a pass was originally OK , only for the replay to show it forward.

I suppose Saints were owed one anyway, Roosters getting a try earlier after a penalty should have gone to saints for holding down or something similar, cant quite recall now.

Why the Roosters didnt spread it out to monaghan to run at Best is perplexing. :-k

Was that last pass forward?

I think it was thrown backward, floated forward which i think it deemed ok in todays game. Fair call and a try IMO

Great game and the pass from Head looked fine to me. Even so I thought Walker touched the ball for Cross's try and there was a Roosters try on the back of a missed penalty, so if it was forward the poor calls went both ways....

many decisions in the first halve sucked from my point....
i especially liked the kick which that halve wit linesman said went in goal....

but forward passes on trys are pretty normal unfortunately...but it does usually work both ways ---

maybe 2 linesman on either side of the field may help...but league must b doing something right...the crowd there today was a dam fine effort.

Great game, but the Chooks need to apply super glue to their hands.

3 dropped balls in their first 5 tackles, quite frankly you should be whalloped setting that tone for your performance. If that was against Brisbane or Melbourne they'd have had 40 put on them.

Ref was excellent today. Great game of football, kept flowing by Hamstead who had one of the best referees performances I've seen in a VERY long time.

Great game and with an unbiased opinion, the Dragons deserved the win there were quite a few missed calls by the ref but the 40/20 by the touch judge was the worst. I still sorta had the feeling that he had a second attempt with that last try he was pushing himself with the other hand while promoting the ball. If that was a try there have been 2 or 3 others this year very similar that were ruled double movements.

The Fox guys explained it well; he still had momentum (half his body was over the line) so it didn't matter that his arm hit the ground before the line.
