It was a promising start for the Balmain SG Ball side. Gutted they missed out. Injuries and some below par performances counted against them.

Is it because Matts have lost Makasini.
The games I watched, a lot of their team often seemed to stand back and watch this kid do his thing. He was unbelievably good.
Onitoni Large and Alex Isdale are gone too. These are big chunks of talent gone.
I'm wondering if the talent coming from the Andrew Johns Cup has broken down a bit and Stephen Isdale couldn't perform miracles??????
