FANS SHOW SUPPORT FOR MORRIS
Sunday, May 24, 2009
Wests Tigers five-eighth John Morris has received plenty of support from fans wanting him to stay after reports had him linked to England.
The Daily Telegraph reported on Friday that Wests Tigers would be looking for a new five-eighth to partner half-back Benji Marshall as Morris had already secured a deal for next season to play in the English Super League.
Fans have since inundated this website expressing their support for Morris.
The report could not be any further from the truth, Morris said.
I am very happy at Wests Tigers and the club has been great to me.
It is disappointing to read that news because my intentions are to stay with the Wests Tigers.

Well, WT seem to be going out of their way to promote JMo and retain him- isnt that the job of his agent not the WT? Shouldnt they remain neutral?
I think there will be a battle towards end of year with retention of either Morris or Halatau- one of them will loose. WT shouldnt talk up either until contracts signed for beyond this year.
