I was travelling through Guildford the other day and noticed a small table set up outside coles. It had two young blokes dressed in manly shirts and it appeared as through they were flogging off raffle tickets.

WTF is going on. Did anyone else see this. If I wasn't working I would have abused them.:crazy:

I'm pretty sure they were more than just supporters. They had sponsorship banners around the table and looked well out of place in Guildford.:lol:

I think you will find they are a fund raising sideshow that legitimise themselves using the League sides as a "front".

They were in the Parramatta Mall a couple fof years ago , with the Sharkies Junior League as their front.

I can remember that Raaaay even mentioned them on his show, apparently they sell thousands of tickets , takes many , many months to draw the prize and pay a pittance to the so called beneficiaries, I have the feeling that we as a club turned down their approach more than once.

They are just parasites.

Same here, have had guys dressed in Manly, Sharks and Tigers gear at various times down at the local shopping centre (Kings Langley) and have actually had the balls to approach me whilst wearing a parra shirt and getting out of my car with parra plates, cleary I gave them a polite thanks but no thanks.
