Yeah, this was about the time when I first got into wrestling, and I was keen to give it a crack booking the WWE at this time. It is as I stated before just after Wrestlemania 21, so most of the storylines from their will still continue.

Plus they had a good roster back then with Christian, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Beniot, Muhammad Hassan, and even Eugene.

they had a preety good roster ( nothing compared to the 90's) but the booking team still found a way to ruin storylines and book potential maineventers to the ground

MONDAY NIGHT RAW
Monday 4th April 2005

Raw kicks off with the opening movie, and then we are shown a clip of Wrestlemania. It shows all of the Raw highlights, starting with Trish Stratus pinning Christy Hemme, Then we are shown Undertaker extending his Wrestlemania run to 13-0 by pinning Randy Orton. Then onto Edge winning the Money in the Bank. We then are shown Shawn Michaels tapping out to Kurt Angle’s ankle lock. We are then shown the main event, with Batista hitting a Batista Bomb on Triple H, and getting the pin to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.

We cross to the arena, where Batista’s music hits. The Animal makes his way out from the back.
Jim Ross- Welcome one and all to Monday Night Raw, and we are 24 hours from what is Wrestlemania, and what a night we have for ourselves. We have a Wrestlemania rematch of sorts with two of the participants in the Money in the Bank up against each other, with Christian taking on Chris Benoit. Joining me is my partner in crime Jerry, the King, Lawler.
Jim- Thank you Jim, and what a night we have tonight. I can’t wait.

Batista gets to the ring, and grabs a microphone.
Batista- Last night I went into Wrestlemania as the underdog. I was second fiddle. Everyone was talking about how Triple H was going to go in the champion, and leave the champion. Hell… even Triple H was saying that… but Hunter…. Look who has the belt. And all it took was a Batista Bomb, and you were down. Now Hunter, I know you are back there, and I know you will be mightily pissed off… but I have a message for you. I accept your rematch any time, any place. You name it. Hell, I’ll have it tonight.

At that moment “The Game” hits, and Triple H makes his way to the ring.

HHH- Now Dave, I think everyone in this arena can use one word to describe your win last night… and that word is ‘fluke’. You know it, I know it. Your win was a fluke. I am the greatest wrestler in the WWE today, and I still should be the World Heavyweight Champion, but I am not. And I am not happy.
Batista- Well if you’re not happy, let’s have your rematch tonight. Let’s get your frustration out of your system
HHH- You really don’t know me do you Dave. Do you think I would put myself in that position? I am not ready to claim back what is rightfully mine. But I know what is going to happen. At Backlash, it is going to be the New World Heavyweight Champion, Dave Batista, taking on The Game Triple H. and I guaran-damn-tee that I will walk out as the champion.
Triple H drops the mic, and walks off.

Commercial Break

We return from the break, and Shelton Benjamin’s music hits. He makes his way to the ring. The music of “The Masterpiece” Chris Masters hits, and he makes his way to the ring.

Shelton Benjamin verses Chris Masters- Non Title match.
Shelton goes to Irish whip Chris Masters into the corner. He whips him, but Masters collides with the referee. Both Masters and the referee are down. Shelton then goes to the top rope, but some one is running down the ramp with a chair. He climbs up on the apron, and whacks Shelton in the back of the head with the chair. Shelton falls to the mat. The unknown superstars jumps the railing and into the crowd. By this time Masters and the referee are up. Masters picks up Benjamin and puts him in the Masterlock. Benjamin is out cold, the referee rings the bell.
Winner Chris Masters via Submission.
Rating 63%

Jim- What a big win by Masters?
Jerry- But he got a little help.
Jim- He sure did. But I just have word that Todd Grisham is ready backstage for us.

We cross backstage with Todd. Todd is looking past the camera.
Todd- I told you guys, he went in here. He has to come out sometime… What? We are on?... Ok, in this room is the man that just interfered in Shelton Benjamin’s match. Lets see who it is?
Todd walks in the room.
Todd- Excuse me sir… who are you?
???- Who am I? I am CM Punk. I am straight edge, meaning no alcohol and no drugs, and that means I am better than Shelton Benjamin in every single way. Shelton… I want, and am going to get your title. And there is nothing you can do about it. See ya.
CM Punk walks out of the room.

Commercial Break

We return from the break with Edge’s music hitting the system.
Jim- Well last night, Edge beat 5 other participants to take out the first ever Money in the Bank ladder match.
King- And you know what that means… a title shot anytime… any place, but it have to be used before the next Wrestlemania.
Edge gets to the ring, poses with his briefcase, and then grabs a microphone. The crowd are booing him.
Edge- In the words of a washed up superstar… Welcome to RAW… IS… EDGE…. Last night, I, Edge entered the first ever Money in the Bank ladder match. I was given the opportunity to win a title shot, anytime, any place, against any champion I want in the WWE. Well, I took the opportunity, and I stand before you as the Money in the Bank winner, and soon you will hear... The new World Heavyweight Champion or the New WWE Champion…. EDGE….. and there is nothing nobody can do about it…
Right at that moment Chris Jericho’s music hits. Y2J makes his way out from the back.
Jericho- You know what Edge, that should have been me with that briefcase. If you remember, I was at the top of the ladder, when I was hit with a clothesline by Shelton Benjamin. So if it wasn’t for Benjamin, I would be up there with that briefcase, and the title opportunity.
Edge- No that’s where you are wrong Jericho. It is because you couldn’t handle the pressure. See I was in a similar situation to you Chris. I got suplexed off the ladder, but I got up, and here I am… Mr Money in the Bank. And I proved I am destined for greatness.
Jericho- Oh, if that is the case, then you will have no trouble taking me on tonight.
Edge- And why would I do that.
Jericho- Because, Raw General manager Eric Bischoff has already granted the match. See you later in the ring.
Jericho’s music hits, as he gives Edge a cheeky smile before walking off.

Commercial Break

We return from the break with Victoria’s music hitting the arena. She makes her way to the ring. The music of Trish Stratus hits the p.a. as the women’s champion also makes her way to the ring.

Victoria versus Trish Stratus
Trish is in control of the match. She has Victoria down. She goes to the top of the turnbuckle as Victoria is getting up, and hits a dropkick on her. She picks Victoria up and Irish whips her to the corner. She goes up and starts to punch Victoria, but Victoria gets a thumb in the eye of Trish. Trish staggers back, but is hit by a Widow’s Peak by Victoria. She pins Trish. 1…2…3….
Winner Victoria via Widow’s Peak
Rating 72%

Jim- What a win by Victoria.
King- Indeed. Is that one step towards her becoming a WWE Women’s champion.
Ross- It could be.

We cross backstage to Chris Benoit walking. He turns a corner, and runs into Christian.
Christian- So Chris, I believe we have a match tonight. But unlike the two girls arguing in the ring earlier about last nights Money in the Bank, I hold no grudges. But Chris, you better believe I will make your face, even less ‘Unprettier’.
Benoit- ‘Unprettier’… That doesn’t even make sense. Tonight you better be ready because I will make you tap so fast you won’t see it coming. And you know why I know that… it is because that is the god damn truth.
Benoit walks off as Christian is left standing there.
Rating 78%

We then cross to Eric Bischoff’s office. Edge barges in.
Eric- Ah Edge, just the man I expected to barge into my office. Now what can I do for you?
Edge- You know exactly why I am here. I apparently have to wrestle Chris Jericho tonight, not even 24 hours after surviving a ladder match to win the Money in the Bank. Now with this briefcase, I have proven I am the most valuable asset to the company, and I am the best there is…
Eric- The Best there is… well if that is the case, then you will have no problem tonight when you take on Chris Jericho in our Main Event.
Edge- But…
Eric- No buts Edge, oh and I forgot to mention…tonight’s match with Jericho… it is for your Money in the Bank briefcase. Good luck.

Commercial break

We return to Raw as Val Venis’ music hits the arena, as he makes his way to the ring. The music of Muhammad Hassan then hits and both he and Daivari come out.
Ross- Well last night at Wrestlemania, Hassan tried to make a point about not being on the show, but he ended up getting beaten up for his troubles.
King- Not just by anyone, but by the Immortal Hulk Hogan.

Val Venis vs. Muhammad Hassan

A basic squash. Val starts off strong, but is hit by a clothesline by Hassan. He hits a side slam, then puts Val into the Camel Clutch. Venis taps out.
Winner Muhammad Hassan via the Camel Clutch.
Rating 69%

Daivari hits the ring with a microphone. He gives it to Hassan.
Hassan- Last night at Wrestlemania, I was embarrassed. I was embarrassed on the grandest stage of them all. I was embarrassed by Hulk Hogan. I was sick to death of how Eugene of all people got a gig at Wrestlemania before me. So I did something about it. I created a Wrestlemania moment. People are going to go on about Hogan. Oh what a hero he is. He is a real American. Well let me tell you something. I am an actual American. I stand up for and I represent the Arabic American society. Hulk Hogan, I want you in the ring anytime, any place. You name it.

The music of Eugene hits as Eugene makes his way out. he stays on the stage.
Eugene- Last night, my hero Hulk Hogan came to my rescue to save me from you. Well my uncle is Eric Bischoff, and he told me to tell you, I am versing you next week in a match, but in my corner is… Hulk Hogan.
Hassan- Eugene, can you come to the ring for me.
King- Don’t Eugene, don’t do it.
Eugene walks to the ring. Hassan whispers into Daivari’s ear. Daivari leaves the ring.
Hassan- Now Eugene you are a special person to quite a lot of people, and I use the term special quite loosely, and it is your specialness that pisses me off.
He hits Eugene with the microphone. He calls for Daivari. Daivari puts two chairs into the ring. Hassan delivers a con-chairto to Eugene. Eugene is busted open. Hassan then leaves the ring and removes the steel steps. He grabs Eugene, and takes him to the outside. He puts Eugene’s head in between the steel steps and the ring post. He then boots the steps.
Ross- Oh My God… he is going to crush Eugene’s skull.
At that moment several referees come to the ringside. They convince Hassan to stop. He goes to get a microphone again.
Hassan- Eugene, I know you can hear me. I accept your challenge.
He drops the microphone and walks off, as the doctors attend to Eugene.

Commercial break

We return to RAW as La Resistance hits, as they make their way to the ring. The music of Regal and Tajiri hits as the Tag team champions make their way to the ring aswell.

La Resistance verses Regal and Tajiri
Conway and Grenier are dominating Regal. They continue to double team him. He finally reverses a move into the back body drop, and is able to get the tag to Tajiri. Tajiri jumps into the ring, and is kicking both Conway and Grenier. Conway is the legal man, but Tajiri is dominating him. He hits a dropkick, and Conway is down. Tajiri then picks up Conway, and Irish Whips him, but Grenier gets a blind tag on Conway. Tajiri hits the Buzzsaw Kick on Conway, and he is down, but Grenier sneaks up behind Tajiri, and hits a school boy pin. He has Tajiri’s tights. 1….2….3… the ref calls for the bell.

Loved the way you booked Hassan there. CM Punk as a heel? Or is it just a periodical thing so you can get the title of Shelton and send his ass to Smackdown to tag with Haas?

Also bro, would you mind doing the pics for my Bound For Glory card? No one has yet lol! And its been almost a month!

Here is the latest instalment. I will try to do more regular updates.

Smackdown
Thursday 07/04/2005

Smackdown opens with a clip of Wrestlemania. It shows all of the highlights of Wrestlemania, with the clip ending with John Cena, and his new title.

The music of Eddie Guerrero hits, and Eddie comes out in his car.
Styles- Welcome one and all to Thursday night Smackdown. I am your new announcer Joey Styles, and joining me at the desk is my partner Tazz. And what a night we have for ourselves tonight.
Tazz- Thanks Joey, it sure is a great night. I can’t wait.
Joey- Now we have word that Eddie has a special announcement for us tonight.

Eddie hops into the ring.
Eddie- Now me and my…ummm…ummm Esse, Rey Mysterio are the WWE Tag Team champions, and I believe we can take on any team, any time, any place for our title, and still walk out champions. So I have already talk to my amigo backstage, Teddy Long, and he has agreed every match that me and Rey tag together will be for the title, until that fateful day when we do lose them.
At that moment Rey Mysterio’s music hits. He goes to the ring.
Rey- What do you think we are playing at Eddie?
Eddie- Don’t worry Esse, I have a plan.
At that moment some new music hits. Out come two men and a girl. They have a microphone.
???- I am Johnny Nitro, this is Joey Mercury, and this fine thing is Melina, and we are MNM, and Eddie, Rey….
All three- We accept…
Eddie- Fantastic, lets get a referee down here.
A referee runs down to the ring.

Guerrero and Mysterio vs. MNM- WWE Tag Team Championship Match.
Match Finish:
Guerrero is in the ring with Mercury. Joey starts hitting some punches and chops onto Eddie. Eddie gives Mercury a thumb to the eye. He then runs to Mysterio for the tag. Joey stumbles over to Nitro and gets the tag. Mysterio hits some dragon whips, then a dropkick on Nitro. Nitro is slowly making his way to his feet. Mysterio trips him, and Nitro falls onto the second rope. Rey sees an opportunity for the 619. He hits it. He jumps on the rope to hit the West Coast Pop. But Eddie catches his leg. Eddie has tripped him. Rey falls down to the canvas. Nitro gets to his feet, and hits a spinning leg drop on Mysterio. He covers Rey. 1…2…3. We have new WWE Tag team Champions.

Joey Mercury and Johnny Nitro celebrated with Melina, as Eddie walks up the ramp, laughing at Rey Mysterio.

Joey- Wow. How about that for an opening to Smackdown!
Tazz- It sure was.
Joey- Now I hear we are backstage with Michael Cole.

We go backstage and Michael Cole is there with Paul London.
Cole- I am here with the Cruiserweight Champion, Paul London. Now Paul, I believe you have a special announcement for us tonight.
London- Indeed I do Michael. As you mentioned I am the WWE Cruiserweight Champion. But I am a man of ambition Michael. I need more. That is why I would like to introduce you to my new manager, Jim Cornette.
Jim Cornette walks into view.
Jim- Thank you Paul for giving me this opportunity. Let me be the first to say that this kid right next to me has potential, and I will do the best that I can to make sure he reaches the heights that he is destined to make. I will make sure he climbs the right ladders. He talks to the right people. And that we will beat the right people. I will guarantee that Paul London will be the Cruiserweight Champion for many a year to come. Thank you.
Jim walks off.
Cole- Is this a wise choice Paul?
London- Trust me I know what I am doing.

Commercial break.

We return as John Bradshaw Layfield’s music hits, and JBL comes out to a chorus of boos. He comes out with his Cabinet, consisting of The Bashams and Orlando Jordan. The crowd are still booing as he gets to the ring.

JBL- SHUT UP. Let’s get the first things out in the open. I still should be the WWE Champion. I am the greatest WWE Champion this company has ever seen, and to think that a degenerate white man, who thinks he is black… no offence Orlando… is the champion right now makes me sick. Now Cena, I do have a rematch clause as I am a… former… champion. But I use the word former loosely as when I have my rematch I will kick the living crap out of you. And don’t think for one second I will have my rematch tonight, because I will not sink as low as having to wrestle in front of the type of people in the arena right here, right now.
The music of John Cena hits. He makes his way out.
Cena- JBL… JBL… THE CHAMP IS HERE. Now JBL, I cannot believe the dribble coming out of your mouth man. If I were you, I would take it as a privilege to perform in front of these people. And that is why you are in a match tonight, where I have chosen your opponent. You will be taking on Booker T in the main event for tonight.
JBL- Cena, why don’t you come to the ring? I have two friends here that would like to get their hands on you.
JBL looks at The Bashams
Cena- See John, I thought it would come to this. You are all talk because what is it. 4 against 1. Well I have done some recruiting and found backstage there are some people who are willing to help me. So can I introduce my first ally, he is MR Thursday Night Smackdown… Rob Van Dam.
RVD comes out, and runs straight to Orlando Jordan, and tackles him. The Basham’s then come to Jordan’s rescue. They start stomping RVD, making it 3 on one.
Cena- Wait a minute Doug and Danny. Before you do anything rash, I have two young boys that are making their debuts tonight who are only willing to help out in my cause. They are the most talented free agent tag team in the USA today. They are Mark and Jay Briscoe.
Mark and Jay walk out, and shake Cena’s hand. They then run to the ring and slide in. The Basham’s stopped their assault on RVD, and confront The Briscoe’s. The Briscoe’s back off and gather near the ropes and discuss tactics. Doug charges at them, but they duck, and pull the top rope down and Doug goes to the outside. Danny then charges at them, and they hit a double hip toss on Danny. Both Mark and Jay go up the turnbuckle. Jay hits a diving leg drop, while Mark hits a Shooting Star press. The Briscoe’s celebrate, as JBL retreats.
Cena- JBL… You want some… come get some.

Billy Kidman comes into the frame.
Billy- Sorry for the interruption, but I have a little something I have to say. Paul London and Jim Cornette… I’m ready.
Billy walks off, and then punches Michael Cole in the face. He laughs and walks off again.
Rating 58%

We then cross to Teddy Long in his office. Rob Van Dam walks in.
RVD- Hey Teddy, I have a question for you. When am I going to get a shot at Orlando Jordan’s title?
Teddy- Well it is quite simple Rob. You need to become the number one contender.
Carlito then walks in.
Carlito- I am sorry but I was walking past your office and couldn’t help but overhear your problem RVD. Let me tell you, I am a former United States Champion. I beat John Cena on my debut to win the title. I think I deserve it more than you Rob Van Dam.
Teddy- Hey here is an idea. How about tonight, one on one we have Rob Van Dam verses Carlito, and then winner takes on Orlando Jordan next week for his title.
RVD- You’re on.
RVD walks out
Carlito- Teddy, that is not cool….
He walks out.

Tazz- We sure did Joey. Here is what went down.

We are show a clip of the confrontation of Triple H and Batista, leading to their match at Backlash.
Rating 79%

We then cross backstage where Carlito is warming up backstage.
Joey- There is Carlito and his match is next.
At that moment Orlando Jordan walks up to Carlito and puts his arm around him. They walk off together.
Tazz- Wow Joey, I wonder what that is about?
Joey- I have no idea Tazz.

Commercial Break.

We return from the break as Carlito Caribbean Cool’s music hits as he makes his way to the ring. The music of Rob Van Dam hits as he too makes his way to the ring.

Carlito Caribbean Cool verses Rob Van Dam

The match is drawing to a conclusion. Rob Van Dam whips Carlito into the corner and hits him with the Monkey Flip. It looks over now. RVD climbs to the top. He signals that he is going for the Frog Splash. But Orlando Jordan has hit the ring and climbs on the Apron. The referee is distracted with Jordan. RVD goes for the Frog Splash, but Carlito rolls away. He rolls to the corner and picks up his apple. He takes a bite, and spits it in RVD’s face. He throws the apple away, and hits the Outward Rolling Cutter. He pins RVD. 1…2…3… The referee calls for the bell.
Winner Carlito via Pinfall

Carlito quickly rolls out of the ring, and walks up the ramp. Orlando catches up to him, and raises his hand.

Commercial Break.

We return as Kurt Angle’s music hits. He comes to the ring, with a smug look on his face.
Joey- At Wrestlemania, Kurt Angle beat Shawn Michaels in a match which they both dubbed to settle who was the best wrestler in the WWE, and Kurt looks like he is out here to gloat about his win.
Tazz- And in all fairness, he can gloat all he likes. He won fair and square. He is the best.

The crowd are still chanting “you suck” as he hits the ring.
Kurt- Say that all you like. It is obvious that I don’t suck. Why you ask? It is because last weekend at Wrestlemania, I made Mr. Wrestlemania, the Main Event, The Show… Stopper tap out. Yes, yes, yes, your hero Shawn Michaels tapped out like a little girl, thanks to yours truly. And at Wrestlemania, I became the man. I would like you all to bow down to the new Mr. Wrestlemania…. Kurt Angle.
The crowd in incensed. Sexy Boy comes over the loud speaker. Out comes Shawn Michaels.
Cole- Its Shawn Michaels.
Tazz- What is he doing here? Shouldn’t he be on RAW?
HBK- Ah Kurt. You see you just can’t be Mr. Wrestlemania just like that. You have to earn the name Mr. Wrestlemania. I did that. I have gone out to each and every Wrestlemania, and I have wowed the crowd. I, along Razor Ramon had the greatest ladder match the WWE has ever seen. And don’t get me started on last Sunday. Kurt in my opinion that was one of the best matches that I have ever been in and I reckon you would feel the same. So Kurt, here is my proposition for you. Let’s have at least one more. At Backlash, let’s do Shawn Michaels versus Kurt Angle II. And if I win then, I mean when I win that, at Judgment Day, in your backyard of Smackdown, it will be the decider. So Kurt what do you say?
Kurt- HBK… I cannot wait to make your ass tap out.
HBK smiles as the screen goes black.
