Joey- Welcome to the latest instalment of ECW! On Sci Fi. I am Joey Styles, and joining me at the desk is Tazz.
Tazz- Thank you Joey, and what a night we have tonight. I can’t wait. Tonight we have a Royal Rumble qualifier between Balls Mahoney and Shelton Benjamin.

Segment 1
The music of Armando Estrada hits, and the ECW GM makes his way to the ring.
Estrada- Thank you… thank you. I am Armando Estrada, and do I have news for you. Tonight marks the beginning of a new era in ECW. For tonight there will be the formation of a new group. They are to be called ‘The New Breed’. Now I know a lot of people are saying this will never work. It didn’t work the first time, so why will it work this time. Well now there is a united vision between my first two members of the group tonight, and with first two members, I mean there will be more members to join in our quest. That is to rid ECW of its original’s. Now before anything happens to me I should bring out my two members of The New Breed for my protection. Introducing first is Elijah Burke, and also Shelton Benjamin.
The Two walk out to new music.
Estrada- Now with these two men at my disposal, we will be sure to rule all that is ECW. And I guarantee that when others find out about this, they will want to join this movement and become part of the New Breed.
Some familiar music hits.
Joey Styles- OH MY GOD… it is the Hardcore Legend Terry Funk.
Tazz- Wow. I wasn’t expecting to see him.
Terry Funk makes his way to the ring to a massive pop.
Funk- Don’t you think for one minute I will let you rip out the heart and soul of ECW. You want to get rid of these people. I’ll tell you, it people like Tommy Dreamer that keep the legacy of ECW alive. He has literally bled for the industry. And what reward does he get for that. A firing? But I have an army of sorts. They are my ECW Originals. They are superstars who are ECW born and bred. Hey I have an idea. How about tonight, in a tag team match, it is your two New Breed members, Elijah Burke and Shelton Benjamin, verses two of my ECW Originals, in a hardcore Tornado Tag match. But the thing is I won’t be telling you who you are versing. You will just had to wait and see.
Estrada looks at both Benjamin and Burke, who are shaking their head and telling him no.
Estrada- Well I think that is settled then. You are on Funk.
Benjamin and Burke look annoyed at Estrada, and Funk leaves smiling.

Tazz- But doesn’t Benjamin have a match against Balls Mahoney tonight?
Styles- I believe he does, or did. Now last week we saw a confrontation between Chavo Guererro and The ECW Champion CM Punk. Here is what happened.

The music of Mike Knox hits and he makes his way to the ring. The music of CM Punk then hits and the ECW Champion makes his way to the ring as well.

CM Punk vs. Mike Knox.

Match Background: CM Punk is the reigning ECW champion.

The Match: Knox strikes away at CM Punk, not doing much damage at all. CM Punk elbows Mike Knox in the face to break a hammerlock. Super kick by CM Punk. Springboard dropkick from CM Punk. Nicely done. Chavo Guerrero comes running down the aisle with a chair! Knox goes to irish whip CM Punk into the ropes. Chavo jumps onto the apron with the chair...but CM Punk reverses! Collision between Chavo, Knox, and the chair! Mike Knox staggers back into a roll up! 1...2...3! It's over! Mike Knox and Chavo Guerrero try to beat down CM Punk, but end up getting run out of the ring by a furious CM Punk. They leave quickly before they end up taking any more punishment

Armando Estrada is backstage with both Burke and Benjamin.
Benjamin- But Armando I am meant to be having a match tonight with Balls Mahoney, which was for a spot in the Royal Rumble. This was the match that was going to make or break my career.
Estrada- No tonight’s main event will make or break your career. You see, you two are in a tag team match against two mystery opponents, but if you win, then at the Royal Rumble, you can have a championship match against any champion in the WWE. Now Balls Mahoney has a match tonight, not for a spot in the Rumble, but more of a warm up for his match with you, if you guys somehow do not pick up the win tonight, which I highly doubt you will.
Burke and Benjamin look at each other and smile.
Estrada- Now here are some old ECW videos and study for your opponents. I have a feeling Funk could bring up just about anyone. Sorry but I cant help you, I off scouting more members.
Benjamin and Burke walk off talking to each other.

Segment 5
Ball Mahoney’s music hits, and he makes his way to the ring. Kofi Kingston’s music then hits and he too makes his way to the ring.

Kofi Kingston vs. Balls Mahoney.

Match Background: None.

The Match: Kingston crushes Balls with a huge legdrop. Springboard dropkick from Kofi Kingston. Nicely done. Diamond Dust from Kofi Kingston and Balls is out! Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! I would have bought that as the finish! Kingston hits a dropkick on Balls Mahoney and gets right back up. There's a two count on the pin. Balls blocks the suplex attempt and is able to hit the suplex instead! Balls slams Kofi Kingston down and motions to the crowd. Spear by Balls Mahoney. Kofi Kingston reverses a hip toss. SUPER frankensteiner on Balls, who hit hard and is loopy as a result. Balls Mahoney can barely stand. Cool Runnings!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!! Kofi Kingston goes into the crowd, where he celebrates his victory

The new theme for The New Breed hits and Elijah Burke and Shelton Benjamin come out. They head to the ring with Armando Estrada in tow. They wait and the music of Tommy Dreamer hits. He makes his way to the ring, but stops halfway. He points to the ramp. Terry Funk’s music hits.
Tazz- Don’t tell me that Terry is wrestling tonight.
Styles- No he has a mic in his hand.
Funk- So tonight’s main event is Elijah Burke and Shelton Benjamin verses, Tommy Dreamer and a man that is an ECW Original, and you could say one of a kind…
Rob Van Dam’s music hits, and RVD makes his way out. There is a massive pop for him. Both Dreamer run to the ring and slide in.

Elijah Burke and Shelton Benjamin vs. Rob Van Dam and Tommy Dreamer.

Match Background: This will be a hardcore bout. RVD is making his debut at this show.

The Match: BIG clothesline on Dreamer. DDT from the top rope by Shelton Benjamin. That looked KILLER. Shelton \ Burke hook up Dreamer, then hit a double suplex. Whip into an upright table by Burke. Tommy Dreamer once again takes the advantage after blocking a few punches and connecting with some forearms. Running knee lift from Rob Van Dam. Face jam onto the table. Spear! Shelton is down! Rob Van Dam connects with rights and lefts and Elijah Burke is down! Rob Van Dam floors Elijah Burke...and climbs the turnbuckles. Five Star Frog Splash!!! 1....2....3!! It's all over.

Team 3D come running down into the ring. They nail Elijah Burke from behind, then grab Shelton and hit the 3D! With him out of the way, the drag Elijah Burke to the outside...and promptly put him straight through the announcer's table with a double slam! Team 3D have destroyed Burke \ Shelton!

"WWE would like to announce the firings of TNA commentators Mike Tenay and Don West. We would like to wish all the best in their future endeavors ."

It appears both have moved on quite quickly as Tenay is no working for Combat Zone Wrestling and West has a contract with Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. It is understood that Max Bretos and Doc Marlee have been brought in to take over TNA.

- WWE would like to announce the following signings for the company. Many have been signed from Ring of Honor, or other independant promotions, and will be sent to FCW. They are:
Andy Douglas, Brandon Van Danielson, Bryan Danielson, Chase Stevens, Chris Hero, Claudio Castagnoli, Drake Younger, Nick Dinsmore, Jay Briscoe, Joey Matthews, Kevin Steen, Lince Dorado, Mark Briscoe, Mistico and Tim Donst.
They have also raided Australian talent and signed:

Max Bretos- Thank you one and all, and welcome to the last WWE TNA from the iMPACT! Zone in Orlando, Florida, I am your new announcer Max Bretos, and with me is my partner in crime Doc Marlee.
Doc- Thank you Max, and what a night we have in store for us tonight. We have the X Division Tournament match between Booker T and Samoa Joe, and expect to hear something from the man that lost last weeks TNA World Heavyweight Championship match, Christian Cage.

Doc- As a great commentator has said before, it looks like business may be picking up.
Max- I believe it will. Remember last week, Mr. McMahon was about to make an announcement but was interrupted by Shark Boy.

Vince- Thank you one and all for coming to this event, and tuning in at home on Spike TV. It is a monumental night for TNA as it is the last Thursday night show that will be shown on this network. Tonight I will announce a new man that will take over the power of this company. And no tonight I will not be interrupted by a man dressed up as a shark dressed up as Stone Cold Steve Austin. That is because he is banned from the arena tonight, or risk me saying… YOU’RE FIIIIRRRREEEDDDD!!!
So without further ado, this man is a co-founder of Total Nonstop Action. He is also a former employer of mine. So welcome the new General Manager of TNA, Double J Jeff Jarrett.
Jeff Jarrett comes out to a warm ovation from this sell out audience.
Max- Wow. What a bombshell fro the Chairman of the Board, Vince McMahon.
Doc- What a terrible choice in GM. I could do a better job than this joke coming down to the ring.
Jeff gets in the ring and shakes Vince’s hand. Vince leaves Jeff with a mic, and gets out of the ring.
Jeff- Thank you one and all. Yes I am the new man in town. I am the boss of this company, so whatever I say goes. Now my first duty as the General Manager of TNA is that every match that you se tonight will be a match in the X Division Tournament, meaning even if there are tag team matches, the winning team will advance. If there are Knockouts in matches, they are in the tournament. I will be backstage with a lovely assistant, and we will be drawing the competitors out of a barrel, to see who verses who in the tournament. And now we will kick things off with a singles match between Booker T and Samoa Joe. Lets get these two down here.

AJ- How do we feel? What kind of stupid question is that? We were the champions back in TNA, and we are the champions now. We are the most dominate force in TNA. I am the Prince of Phenomenal, and this is Tomko, the most dominant force in TNA, and we dare anyone in the WWE to take us down.
AJ and Tomko look off camera. Team 3D walk into view.
Brother Ray- Last week we were robbed of what is rightfully our. And tonight we are claiming it back. We have already talked to new General manager Jeff Jarrett, and we have a match against you guys tonight. But there is an important stipulation to this match. The winners get the title as normal. But the loser leaves TNA. So…
AJ- Who do you think you are? Do you honestly think we are just going to give you a match here and now?

Sonjay Dutt’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring. He awaits his opponent. Abyss’ music then hits and he makes his way to the ring. Sonjay looks worried as Abyss makes his way down for their match.

But then we saw some tactics used by my opponent, Kurt Angle. I will admit, I got distracted. And that is what cost me the match. So now I am calling you out Kurt. How about a rematch tonight for your title?
Kurt Angle’s music hits. He stays on the ramp.
Kurt- Do you honestly think I will give you a match of that caliber two weeks out from the Royal Rumble? I don’t think so Christian. But here is what I’ll do. You can have a match for my title at the Royal Rumble. But only if you beat my hand picked opponent tonight.
At that moment someone jumps the barriers and gives Christian a F-5.
Kurt- Meet your opponent Christian, Brock Lesnar.
The crowd go nuts, as Lesnar stands over the fallen Christian, mouthing off at him.

Max- For one of these teams it is the last time they make their way down here to a TNA ring.
Doc- I have a feeling this could be a brutal match.

Tomko slams Brother Devon. Hard back suplex on Ray. Tomko goes to suplex Devon through a table, but he slips out the backdoor. Brother Ray, like so many teenage boys, uses a right hand. Except in this case, it's for a punch. Back elbow connects, Tomko staggers backward. Brother Ray scoops up Tomko. Devon bounces off the ropes and hits a flying Hart Attack clothesline. Massive backbreaker, Styles got planted. Brother Devon goes to slam Styles through a table, but he manages to escape. Tomko fights out of a grapple. Flying cross body off the top rope. Brother Ray climbs to the top rope, ready to leap at Tomko. Brother Devon bounces off the ropes for an elbow drop without seeing his partner, and crotches Ray by accident. Tomko climbs onto the table with Brother Ray and uses a powerslam to break the table for the win! AJ Styles and Tomko remain in the ring, celebrating their victory.

Kong slams ODB. ODB gets slammed. Kong slams ODB. 1 - 2 - kick out. Thrown slam by Amazing Kong. 1 - 2 - no 3 though. ODB pushes out of an Amazing Kong hold. ODB punches away at Amazing Kong. 1 - 2 - no 3 though. Messed up bodyslam by ODB. Kong counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. ODB walks into a slammy shoulder thing. Vickie- You will. You see, tonight in the main event it is you, Edge, and Chavo Guerrero, verses The Undertaker and the ECW champion CM Punk.
Edge- Awesome… What the hell do you want?
The camera pans of these two and Eugene is standing there. The crowd somewhat pops.
Eugene- I was just wondering if I can help you Vickie?
Vickie- Sure Eugene, our special friend. How about you go to the ring and wait for my own special instructions. Okay?

Lifting DDT by The Big Show. 1 - 2 - kick out before the 3. Eugene backdrops The Big Show out of a piledriver attempt. Powerbomby thing by Eugene. 1 - 2 - kick out before the 3. The Big Show reverses a hip toss. Eugene can barely stand. Chokeslam! 1....2....3.

We are bored because there are no teams in the WWE that have the same amount of skill, the same amount of talent, and face it good looks that are in this team. So with that being said, we are issuing an open challenge to any tag team from any promotion, you want out titles… come and beat us.

Morrison- Dude, shut up!
At that moment, an unknown tag team jumps the railings, and lay out the champions with a move that can only be described as Tilt-a-whirl flapjack into a Stunner combination. They leave the Tag Team Champions feeling their wounds.

Long- Last week, I announced the WWE Cruiserweight Championship tournament. Well tonight we have another match to go into the next round. We have next on Smackdown! Jimmy Wang Yang, going one on one with his tag team partner Shannon Moore. So boys, get ready for the match, which is next.

Long- Hey boys… what do you think you are playing at?
Andy- Well I am Andy Douglas, and this is Chase Stevens, and we are The Naturals, and we want those titles, we want to prove we are the best tag team in the world.
Long- Well you are not even on the Smackdown books, so I could charge you with trespassing, and get you kicked out of the arena faster than a cheetah.
Chase- Well there is one thing you can do. Give us a match tonight. If we win, we get a contract. If we lose, you can call the cops or whatever you want to do. Just one catch though. We want Morrison and Miz.
Long- Fine. Tonight we have the debuting tag team of The Naturals versus the Tag Team Champions John Morrison and The Miz. You did playas?

Cole- We now have some Cruiserweight tournament action, with tag team partners Jimmy Wang Yang and Shannon Moore versing each other. What are your thoughts on this Coach? Which way will it go?
Coach- And it is in situations like these that tag team split up. Many of the great teams in history have been split up by one member becoming more successful than the other, and I hope tonight we see the same.

Jim Ross- Welcome everyone to Monday Night Raw and what a night we have for you. Our main event tonight is the big match between it seems the new number one contender for the WWE Championship, Triple H. And he goes up against Mr. Kennedy. And joining me is Jerry the King Lawler.
Jerry- You forgot one thing Jim.
Ross- And what is that?
Jerry- Kennedy. You see he says it twice. You know Kennedy… Kennedy…
John Cena’s music hits.
Jim- No time for this King, it seems John Cena is about to make his way out.
It ends up being Shawn Michaels dressed up as John Cena.
King- I don’t think the real John will be happy about this.
Shawn goes into the ring and grabs a mic.
Shawn- What’s up Seattle? What, we aren’t in Seattle? For those who don’t know me, and everyone should as everyone is part of my chain gang, I am the doctor of thuganomics. I am a former United States champion. A former WWE Champion and one of the biggest brothers in the WWE. I am John Cena. Did I mention I am quite a rapper? Like I released an album, and it didn’t go to well, but when has that stopped me rapping before? Do you guys want me to rap?
Crowd pops
Shawn- So… Why don’t I go… See this new show… where Santa goes ho ho ho… and is covered in snow… I’ll go with the flow… How was that?
The crowd still cheers. Shawn then takes off his hat.

Shawn- Now lets be serious. John I thought we had a good relationship. It wasn’t the best, like I would not rub your back after a match. But I thought we had the respect for each other. But you had to attack me last week. After we had just won out tag team match. So John. You left me with no choice. At the Royal Rumble, in this very ring. It is John Cena, the doctor of thuganomics, the leader of the chain gang verses Shawn Michaels, The Heart Break Kid, The Show Stopper The Main event, Mr. Wrestlemania. And Cena I want you. So I can let you hear some sweet chin music.
As soon as he finishes, the music of John Cena hits, and he makes his way out. He stays at the top of the ramp.
John- What the hell was that? First of all, there is no such thing as the chain gang anymore. I gave my heart and soul to this company, and what do I get. I get booed every single time I come out in front of the fans. So you know what. Now I am not wrestling for the fans anymore. I am wrestling for one person. John Cena. As for your challenge. I accept. At the Royal Rumble, I will kick your little Texan ass, and then go on and kick the other twenty nine other people asses and win the Royal Rumble. Now as for your little rap, it was cute, I won’t deny it. But just out of curiosity did your children write it for you. A real rap should sound something like this.
Shawn Michaels, the Heartbreak Kid… you’re a former world champion… but you lost the title to Sid… you come out here tonight… as dopey as you can be… at the Rumble, I’ll give you an F-U… Cause you can’t see me…
He drops the mic, and mouths off at HBK as his music starts playing.

We return as Muhammad Hassan music hits the p.a. and he makes his way to the ring, but stops halfway down the ramp. He then turns around, and Daivari then comes out. They both enter the ring together. They await Hassan’s opponent. The countdown begins and Chris Jericho comes out. He enters the ring.

The match finish:
Muhammad Hassan is looking tired. Y2J hits some punches then runs off the ropes and hits Hassan for an Enzuigiri. He pins Hassan. Only a two count. He then picks him up and runs off the ropes again and gives him one hander bulldog. He then runs and gives Hassan a lionsault. Pins him, and nearly gets a three count, but Hassan got his hands up at the right time. Y2J gets in his usual pose, and waits for Hassan to get up. He attempts a codebreaker but is pushed off. Hassan then climbs to the top ropes and gives Jericho a flying dropkick. Jericho grabs Hassan Legs and locks him ion the Walls of Jericho. Hassan is about to give up when Daivari jumps onto the apron causing the referee to be distracted. Hassan starts tapping but the referee hasn’t seen it. Jericho drops the hold, and sees that the referee hasn’t rung the bell yet. Hassan gets to his feet, and pulls out what seems to be brass knuckles out of his trunks. He puts them on and punches Jericho, knocking him out with one punch. He pins Jericho, and yells at the ref. he runs over. 1… 2… 3…
Winner Muhammad Hassan.

Ross- Did you see that? A blatant use of the brass knuckles on Jericho. He just cheated Jericho out of the victory. Anyway Hassan tapped out.

We cross backstage and Mike is standing with Jeff.
Mike- Last week Jeff, you lost your title to The “Ripped”, Paul Burchill. How do you feel about that Jeff Harvey?
Jeff- How do I feel? I lost the one thing that kept my hopes up in going to work. That title meant everything to me, and I lost it last week. So Paul, tonight I am using my rematch clause, and I will be taking that title home with me tonight. I am going to take you to the limit, and come off victorious. See you in the ring Ripper. Thanks… Matt.

Jeff Hardy’s music hits. He makes his way to the ring. Paul Burchill’s music hits, as the new intercontinental champion comes to the ring with Katie Lea. They hope in the ring, and grab a microphone.
Katie- Jeff Hardy, do you honestly believe that you will become the Intercontinental Champion again? Frankly you have to be kidding yourself. You are coming up against the most dangerous man in the WWE. There is no chance that you will become the intercontinental champion tonight, or ever as long as this man is champion.


Match Finish:
Jeff Hardy seems to be dominating the match. He throws Burchill into the corner and punches him. Burchill falls, and Hardy hits a rope aided corner dropkick. He waits for Burchill to get up. Kick in the gut. TWIST OF FATE. Hardy lays out Burchill. He climbs to the top rope, and does his signature pose on top. Katie Lea then pushes Jeff off, the top rope. The referee hasn’t seen it. He was attending to Burchill. Burchill gets to his feet, and is awaiting Jeff to rise. As soon as he does he runs and hits a jumping neckbreaker on Hardy. Burchill pins him. 1…2… Hardy just gets his arm up. Burchill then grabs Hardy. He hits him with the C4, a standing Moonsault side slam. He pins Hardy once again. 1…2…3… The referee rings the bell.

Katie grabs a steel chair, and brings it into the ring. Burchill smiles at her and nods. He places the chair underneath Jeff, and grabs the back of his head. He gives Hardy a Curb stomp to the chair. William Regal’s music hits. He comes out to the stage.
William- Now Paul, we are good chums. We are both Brits, coming over from the greatest country in the world. I believe you have what it takes to live up to the name of the most dangerous man in the WWE. I like you Paul. I was happy for you to beat Jeff here and now, and that would be the end of that. But your attack on Jeff just then leaves me with no choice. At the Royal Rumble, you have to defend your title. And to make things interesting, it will be Paul Burchill, The intercontinental Champion, verses Jeff Hardy, in a No Disqualification match. That is all.
Regal walks off backstage, while Hardy is smiling as Burchill and Katie Lea walk up the ramp, mouthing off at him. Hardy is helped to his feet by the referees and gives Burchill the belt taunt.

We return with Hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes in their change rooms.
Holly- Now listen Cody. You remember what those French assholes said last week. They were coming for our title any place, any time. So until we get an answer from them, we need to be on our game. They can jump us at anytime…
Cody signals to off screen. Rob Conway and Sylvan Grenier are there.
Sylvan- Bonjour Mr. Holly…. and Master Rhodes. We have been waiting for the right time to get our titles, and we have figured it out. At the Royal Rumble, it will be the World Tag Team Champions Hardcore Holly, and Cody Rhodes, verses the future tag team Champions, Rob Conway and Sylvan Grenier, La Resistance.
Conway- And you will be saying Au Revior to your titles. Let’s go.
They head off, and Holly and Rhodes look at each other. Then next second, La Resistance run in and tackle both Holly and Rhodes. The both pick up their titles, and hit the champs over the head with them. They leave both Holly and Rhodes in a bloody heap on the ground as medical staff run into their change room.

The music of the International Superstars hits, as Santino Marella and Carlito hit the ring. They hope in the ring, and Paul London and Brian Kendrick’s music hits. They hit the ring.

Match Finish:
Carlito is dominating the match. He has Brian Kendrick in the corner. He punches him a few times then throws him to the ropes. He gets down to give Kendrick a back body drop, when Kendrick kicks Carlito in the face, then gives him a dropsault. Kendrick drags Carlito over to his corner and tags in London. London climbs to the top and attempts his signature London Calling. Carlito rolls out of the way. They both struggle to make it to their respective corner, but they do. Both Marella and Kendrick have been tagged in. Kendrick runs and arm drags Marella. He picks up Kendrick, but Kendrick punches him in the face. He stumbles to his corner, and is tagged by Carlito. Marella rolls out of the ring, and London goes to push him in. it seems London and Kendrick haven’t seen the tag. Carlito jumps in the ring, and gets behind Kendrick. He hits Kendrick with the Backstabber. He pins him. 1….2….3… The bell rings.

London rolls into the ring, as Carlito rolls out. Santino makes Carlito play an imaginary drum, as he does his trumpet celebration. Carlito mouths off at London and Kendrick, and both Carlito and Marella laugh before they go backstage.

Triple H turns and walks off.

We the cross to William Regal’s office, where he is getting awfully cosy to Katie Lea. He is about to lean in for a kiss, when there is a knock at the door. He gets up and opens it. There seems no-one is there. He goes to close the door when at that moment Hornswoggle runs in and runs amok in Regal’s office. He is jumping on the table then sees Katie. He jumps off the table onto her, then plants a kiss on her lips. He then jumps off her and runs away. Regal grabs him.
Regal- What do you think you are playing at, you delinquent little freak? I want you now to go out to the ring, and await my special orders. Do… You… Understand?
Hornswoggle nods. He runs out of the room. Regal goes back to the lounge.
Regal- Now where were we?
Katie- Maybe some other time Willy.
Katie walks off. Regal is looking annoyed.

We return as Hornswoggle’s music hits. He is coming to the ring for a match. He hits the ring. Regal’s music hits.
Regal- Now Hornswoggle, a man like yourself needs to understand that your actions lead to severe consequences. So with that being said you have match tonight. And your opponent… The Samoan Bulldozer… Umaga.
Umaga’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring.

Umaga picks up Hornswoggle above his head, and holds him there for a few seconds. Hornswoggle kicks his legs around and somehow escapes. He runs straight at Umaga, and leaps, but Umaga catches him, and hits him with a Samoan Drop. He drags Hornswoggle to the corner and hits the Samoan Wrecking ball. He then picks up Hornswoggle and gives him the Samoan Spike. He pins him. 1…2…3… The bell rings.

We return as Shawn Michael’s music hits. He makes his way to the ring. John Cena’s music then hits. He too makes his way to the ring.

Match Finish:
Shawn Michaels is hitting some chops on Cena, when Cena give HBK a thumb to the eye. He then hits HBK with a clothesline. He pins, but gets a one count. He then waits for HBK to get up, he hits him with a running shoulder block, then hits him again. He then pics him up and hits HBK with a sit out hip toss. He then goes for a side release spinout slam. Now its time for some 5 knuckle shuffle. He hits those, and waits for HBK to get up. As he does, he kicks his gut and picks him up and puts him in a position for an F-U. HBK wriggles out of it, and hits an inverted atomic drop. He then hits a flying forearm smash, and both wrestlers are out. HBK doe his usual kip up, and waits for Cena to rise. He then gives Cena a scoop slam, and goes to the top rope. He leaps, and hits a diving elbow drop. HBK goes to the corner, and starts to tune up the band. Cena rises and Michaels goes for it, he misses and Cena picks him up for F-U again. HBK again gets out of it, but Cena gives him a poke in the eye. Cena runs to the rope and goes for a Bulldog. HBK moves and as Cena comes back, hits him with Sweet Chin Music. He pins Cena. 1…2…3… The referee rings the bell.

We are back at Raw, with Jim Ross, and Jerry “The King” Lawler.
Ross- Well King, The Royal Rumble is on Sunday, and what a night it will be. We have Paul Burchill defending his Intercontinental Title against Jeff Hardy in a No Disqualification match.
King- yes, plus we also have Cody Rhodes and Hardcore Holly defending their title against La Resistance.
Ross- We will also see Randy Orton defend his title against Triple H.
King- What a match that will be. And how about the Royal Rumble. 30 men or divas vying for one place. The main event of Wrestlemania.

We then cross backstage to Chris Jericho.
Chris- Muhammad Hassan. In tonight’s match to me. You proved absolutely nothing to me. Wait a minute, you did. Firstly you proved you are a cheating scumbag. Secondly, you proved you are a scumbag that needs help from your boyfriend to win a match. And thirdly and finally, you’re a scumbag. Do not think for one second that I will let you get away with what you did to me in that match tonight. I came back to the WWE as the saviour of the WWE, and now I know what I have to save. I have to save the WWE audience of pieces of scum like you. Muhammad Hassan, I will get my revenge, and you will get what is coming to you.

The music of Mr Kennedy hits. He makes his way to the ring. He gets into the ring, and does his pose so the microphone comes down.
Kennedy- Tonight I will be going up against the man that has a title shot at the Royal Rumble. But tonight I will dent his title hopes, as I will give him the biggest beating of his life. Because I am MRRRRRRRR… KENNEDY…. KENNEDY
The music of Triple H hits. He too makes his way to the ring. They both get to the ring, and there is no referee. The next second William Regal’s music hits and he comes to the stage.
Regal- Sorry for this inconvenience boys, but it seems I have sent home all the referees without thinking about the main event. But no need to worry, I have made a few phone calls, and I have got a special guest referee that was very eager to officiate of this match. So eager, he flew from his home just to be here for the main event. Now let me introduce your special guest referee. Triple H you will be very familiar with him… Randy Orton.
Randy Orton’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring in referee gear. He gets to the ring and rings the bell. Triple H is about to lock up with Kennedy, but is constantly worried about what Randy Orton will do. Randy then hops out of the ring, and grabs a chair to sit down. He is sitting on the outside of the ring, and tells Kennedy and HHH to just fight.

Match Finish:

Mr Kennedy is in full control of this match. He hits a few back chops on Triple H, then hits a reverse DDT. He picks up Triple H, and goes for the Mic Check. He hits it and pins. Randy Orton slides in the ring, and begins a count. 1…2… Triple H just gets his Shoulder up. This leaves both Kennedy and Orton upset. Orton leaves the ring again and this time grabs his chair and throws it into the ring. He makes a gesture to Kennedy that he can see what is happening, and he turns around. Kenned y smiles and picks up the chair he holds it above his head and waits for HHH to reagin his footing. As soon as he does he goes for the chair shot, but HHH kicks him in the gut, grabs the chair and hits Kennedy over the head with it. Orton hears this and turns to see the damage. He then realises HHH is still standing and Kennedy is down. Orton rolls into the ring and the two start brawling, HHH hits a spinebuster on Orton and is looking like he will go for the pedigree. He attempts to kick Orton in the gut, but Orton catches his leg. He spins around HHH, and then hits the RKO out of nowhere. He grabs the unconscious Kennedy, and drags him onto HHH. He starts to count. 1….2…..3….. He calls for the bell.
Winner Mr Kennedy via pinfall.

ECW 15/1/2008

ECW kicks off this week with a video recapping last weeks return of Terry Funk and his challenge to Estrada. It then leads to the main event where RVD returned for the ECW Originals.
We then cross to a packed arena.
Styles- Welcome one and all to another addition of ECW on Sci Fi. I am Joey Styles and joining me at the desk is my good friend Tazz. Well Tazz it seems we may have a revolution of sorts here in ECW.
Tazz- It sure does. I am an Original, so I am excited to see the old boys back again.
Armando Estrada’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring to a chorus of boos. He is joined by Shelton Benjamin.
Armando- Now listen to me. Last week I as general manager of ECW was embarrassed by the man named Terry Funk. (Massive Pop) That leads me to where I am here tonight. I want your best man Funk, Rob Van Dam, to go one on one with the man standing right beside me, Shelton Benjamin. So what do you say?
Terry’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring, by himself.
Terry- Now Armando, I am all for it. If there is one thing I want to see, it is my Originals kicking the holy crap out of your New Breed or as I like to call them, those inbred pigs. So to answer your challenge Armando, I accept. And Shelton…
Funk slaps Shelton. Shelton can’t believe wait happened, and tackles him and lays in some punches on the grounded Funk. Rob Van Dam comes out of nowhere, which a chair in his hand. He grabs Benjamin and turns him around. He throws the chair at Benjamin, and gives him a Vandaminator, leaving Benjamin on the canvas. He helps Funk up and they leave up the ramp, laughing at the grounded Benjamin.

We return from the commercial break and we are backstage with Chavo Guerrero sitting in front of a camera.
Chavo- You are looking at the future ECW World Title. I am Chavo Guerrero, and I am the present and the future of ECW. Like my uncle Eddie was a hero to you, the fans, you will soon be bowing down to me. I will become the greatest ECW Champion there ever will be. And there is nothing your “Hero” CM Punk can do about it. Because at the Royal Rumble, I will come to that ring. I’ll be ready for my match, and I will absolutely kick the ass of that homes. CM Punk. We return to ringside as Kofi Kingston’s music hits.
Joey- Well what about that Tazz? It seems Chavo has issued a challenge to CM Punk, and he seems pumped for that match on Sunday.
Tazz- He sure does. But now Joey we have Kofi Kingston coming to the ring, and remember last week, Armando asked Kofi to join the New Breed.
Styles- He did. I wonder what his answer will be.
The music of Armando Estrada hits.
Armando- Now Kofi, listen to me. Last week I offered you the chance to join the most exciting thing that has hit the WWE since myself, that is joining the New Breed. And I gave you a one week deadline to make up your mind. Now I believe I still need to make up my mind that you are right for my group, and you are up to New Breed Standard. Now I will give you a match to prove your worth, and then depending on how you conduct yourself in the match, you will be deemed worthy or not. Now your opponent is none other than Colin Delaney.
Colin’s music hits, and he makes his way to the ring. Before the match starts Armando makes his way down and sits at ringside.

Match:
A typical squash. Colin gets some early offence in, and then Kofi hits a standing dropkick. He waits for Delaney to get to his feet, before hitting the Trouble in Paradise, a 540 degree kick to the head. Delaney goes down, and Kingston pins him. The referee starts the count. 1…2…3… the referee calls for the bell. Kofi climbs the turnbuckles to celebrate, when Armando stands up. He grabs his chair and climbs into the ring. He signals to Kofi that he wants him to hit Delaney over the head with the chair. Kofi picks up the chair, and is holding it like he will hit Delaney over the head with it. He drops the chair and walks off. Armando picks up a microphone.

Estrada- Typical. I knew you did not have the guts to join my team of champions. For your stupidity, I give to you two of my men. Big Daddy V and Matt Striker.
Their music comes on, and they make their way to the ring. Kofi is about to run, when Armando trips Kofi, and gives the tag team an opportunity to get Kofi. Striker hits the Golden Rule on Kingston, then Daddy V picks him up and hits a Two handed Chokeslam on him. He is down and out when Terry Funk’s music hits. He makes his way to the stage.
Funk- If it is a fight you guys want I can provide it to you. Bubba, D-Von. Come on out.
The Dudley’s music hits, and they returning tag team make their way to the ring.
Funk- Lets get a referee down here.
A referee makes his way to the ring. He rings the bell.

The Match Finish:
The team of Big Daddy V and Striker have signaled out Ray, and they have isolated him. Big Daddy V hits a body slam on Ray, then tag outs to Striker. Striker climbs to the top, and attempts an elbow drop. Ray rolls out of the way. Both men are down and going for the tag. The both hit the tag simultaneously, bring in D-Von and Daddy V into the match. D-Von hits some clotheslines, the scoop slams Big Daddy V. he climbs to the top rope and hits a Diving Headbutt. He then waits for V to get up, and hits the Saving Grace. He pins Daddy V. 1….2…3… the referee calls for the bell. But The Dudley’s aren’t finished. They leave the ring, and pull out a table. They place the table in the ring, and then pull out another one. They pick up Striker and put him in the ring. They then give Striker a Dudley Death Drop through the table. They then erect the second table, and do the same to Big Daddy V. they start to celebrate with the crowd. They then spot Estrada. They chase him and he ends up backing up the ramp. Kofi Kingston then comes out and gives Estrada a Cool Runnings. He is knocked to the floor. The Dudley’s pick him up. D-Von goes off looking for a table, but there are none under the ring. Kofi then signals to the announcers table, and all three laugh. D-Von strips the table of its monitors and all, and they give Estrada a Dudley Death Drop through the announcers table. They walk off laughing as medical staff attends to Estrada.

We cross to CM Punk who is walking around backstage.
Styles- It seems that we have lost our table for the night, but never fear, the show will go on.
Tazz- And will it ever Joey, as we have the ECW Champion CM Punk, taking on Elijah Burke, and what a match that will be tonight.
Joey- it will, and it’s next.

Commercial Break.

We return as Elijah Burke’s music hits. He makes his way to the ring. The music of CM Punk hits, and the ECW Champion makes his way to the ring. The referee calls for the bell.
The Match:
It’s a pretty even match, but with Burke getting a lot of near falls. He locks Punk into an Abdominal Stretch. Punk is struggling to get out of it, but he somehow makes his way to the ropes. He punches Punk a couple of times and puts him in the corner. He goes for the Elijah Express, but Punk misses. Punk then runs and hits Burke with a Charging High Knee Strike, followed by a Bulldog. He then waits for Burke to get up and he hits the GTS. He pins Burke. 1…2…3… the Referee calls for the bell. The referee raises Punk’s hand, but over the P.A. we hear “OHHH CHAVO…”
Chavo comes out onto the stage and signals that he is going to get Punk’s belt. Punk then sits on the middle rope and invites Chavo to come down, but Chavo says no and walks off laughing.

We return from the break where Shelton Benjamin’s music hits. He makes his way to the ring accompanied by Elijah Burke. They get in the ring, awaiting Shelton’s opponent. Rob Van Dam’s music hits. He makes his way to the ring with Terry Funk in tow.

The Match finish:
Shelton has full control of this match. He has Rob Van Dam in a headlock, and RVD looks like he will lose consciousness. RVD is able to stand up and elbows Benjamin in his stomach twice, allowing the hold to break. He runs to the ropes, but Burke attempts to trip him up. The referee spots him and sends him to the back. Benjamin cannot believe what has happened and goes to argue. RVD hits a wheel kick, then goes to the top. He is going for the frog splash. Matt Striker has jumped the barricade and pushed RVD off the top, he then goes and hides next to the ring. Benjamin then helps RVD up and hits a T-Bone suplex. He pins Rob Van Dam. The referee starts the count. 1….2….3…. The referee calls for the bell. It’s over.

Tazz- But the referee was court up with Burke, was it a ploy all along by the New Breed?
Joey- It could be Tazz.

Matt striker goes into the ring to celebrate with Shelton. Shelton is unsure what has happened. Matt Striker tells him and he laughs. The music of The Dudley’s hits and they make their way to the ring. D-Von goes for Striker, will Bubba goes for Shelton. They throw both of them out of the ring. They celebrate. The music of Big Daddy V, and Mark Henry then hits, and they come out, eventually cleaning house he throwing The Dudley’s out of the ring. Tommy Dreamer’s music then hits, and he comes out with a steel chair in hand. He goes for Daddy V, and smacks him over the head with the chair. He then hits Mark Henry of the head with the chair, and leaves both of them down on the canvas. The music of Armando Estrada then hits. He comes out to the stage.
Armando- Now Tommy listen to me. You think you can get away with this assault on my men. Well I have news for you. I would like to introduce the newest ECW member, and the newest member of My New Breed. He is Samoan. His name is…. Sonny Siaki. Some samoan type music comes on, and Sonny comes out. he runs down the ring, and slides in. he and Tommy start to brawl. Sonny gets the upperhand and then hits a pumphandle fallaway slam, what he calls the Siaki Drop. He celebrates to the crowd, who are booing, when someone jumps the railings, wearing a cloak. He slides in the ring, and gives Siaki a spear. He takes off his cloak, and it is Rhino.

Tazz- OH MY GOD. Rhino is back on ECW. He is back for the originals.
Joey- And it seems Terry Funk has trumped Estrada again. Thank you for joining us, and we will see you on Sunday for the Royal Rumble.


ECW ends with Rhino standing on the turnbuckle laughing at Estrada who is still on the stage.
