This is a Thread for the backlash PPV. Any news on the PPV, and thoughts or anything concerning the PPV should go in this thread.

So far it looks like Batista vs HHH for the world title and HBK and Hulk Hogan vs Daivari and Hassan in a tag match.

Looks like Edge and Benoit are starting up a feud again. Might be some sort of a match there at Backlash.

HBK and Hogan vs Arab American
HHH vs Batista
Edge vs Benoit
Shelton vs Y2J - I.C title

Matches that look like they will be on the card. And i Must say not a bad looking card.

I will. It was electric when he came out at WrestleMania. One of the best moments I've seen live. Is it looking like Y2J or Shelton will turn heel? Apparently Shelton didn't get a lot of attention when he and Jericho got down to it.

You know what I'd like to see, I'd like to see Edge get cocky and put his money in the bank contract up for grabs against Beniot. Beniot wins it and then if HHH wins he challenges him immediately. That would be hella tight

If HHH becomes champion again, it'd be the worst booked storyline in history. Triple H has had his time at the top. The last thing the WWE needs is another dull HHH title run. His mike skills are shithouse.

Rumours are saying that Edge will go to Smackdown. And have a feud with Cena for the title. Wouldn't be a bad feud, both men can work the mic and both arn't terrible wrestlers, yet arn't the best going around.

If that happened, they'd need to keep Edge on Raw or transfer a credible heel across to Raw to feud with Batista. Jericho could turn, but aside from that, no one else has been groomed for a main event feud.

Really looking foward to the Last Man Standing match. Is it just me or does this PPV really appeal to me.
Hopefully Captain Charisma has a match at the PPV.

I've only got back into wrestling at about the start of the year, hearing about the elimination chamber at NYR piqued my interest.
The way this PPV is shaping up, I'm thinking of ordering it instead of DLing it as was my original intention.
Edge and Benoit always seem to put on a good show, as does Shawn Michaels and Hulk Hogan. I was hoping the Batista-HHH rematch would have been a HIAC or street fight, or something different than a standard match but should be good just the same.
Needs another match or two, but I'm sure they are saving further announcements for the upcoming Raw.

I just think they are planning for a normal match between Batista and HHH. Maybe they will throw in a no holds bared match closer to the PPV.
