This is a thread for all the info and rumours concerning the up-coming PPV called Judgement Day. It will be the final PPV before the Draft Lottery and it is a Smackdown Brand PPV.

So far two matches have been confirmed for the PPV:

John Cena vs JBL - "I Quit" Match for the WWE Title
Booker T vs Kurt Angle

Rumoured Matches:

Big Show vs Carlito
Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio

Cena and JBL seems like a meh match idea, and when was the last time an "I Quit" match decided the fate of the WWE title? Mankind vs. The Rock?

Booker T vs. Angle has potential for being a good match, I just hope it gets a good build up.

Rey vs. Eddie Guerrero sounds like a near certainty, it definatly has some good build up...although I find it silly that they had a match at Wrestlemania and are already having a match afterwards.

Anywhom...they better get some more matches...or this could be our first candidate as worst PPV of the year.

The last WWE title I Quit match was I think HHH vs Rock on RAW in January 1999 when Chyna turned on Trips afterwards back in the DX days.

The Rey and Eddie and Booker T vs Angle has tons of potential. And those 2 matches should hold up the show.

The Title match could be intresting to watch. Expect alot of Blood, interfernce from the Cabinet and I think Cena will win it.

Yeah those matches look good, but nothing great...like nothing worth buying the show for.

JBL vs. Cena to me is going to be a very average match at the best. It's hard expecting a good match when you got an average wrestler and a brawler going into a match.

Oh that's right ey, about the 1999 I Quit match that match completely crossed my mind.

But for the PPV to be classed as a good PPV it needs atleast one more good match, maybe a Cruiserweight 4 Way? London, Akio, Chavo, Kidman or something along those lines.

I wouldn't mind seeing a tag team match between Los Guerreros vs Rey Mysterio and Paul London. Either on Smackdown or at the PPV

I think it's a good decision to make the ME an I quit match. The WWE title would have lost some prestige after the disappointing Wrestlemania match for it. Having a match of this type is a great way to to regain the lost prestige.

Also it will be a chance to see if Cena is a worthy champ. If he can take the beating expected of a match of this type with some of the sick bumps that go with it he'll gain a lot of respect I feel.

I know it won't happen, but they should make the match between Guerro and Mysterio a cage match. Although I guess it could be a little early in the feud for that. Whatever they decide they should at least make it a gimmick match of some type.

As long as it's nothing like Cena's match against Jesus earlier in the year. F**k it was a snorefest.

Any stipulations?

If not it should atleast still be a good match, both are talented wrestlers and have already put on a 4-5 star match with one another back in Halloween Havoc '97.
