Any word on whether Shane is hanging around for a bit longer? Thought it was weird the way they had him "run" RAW last night.

Got me thinking, with all these NXT call ups increasing the roster size is there a chance Shane starts running Smackdown with a lot of these call ups representing the new vision he claimed he'd bring to Raw if he took over?

Would probably result in a brand split of sorts, but at least Smackdown might be worth watching again.

I heard that theory bandied about today with so many NXT talents called up.

Could also be that he was already in Dallas, and so they put him on the show to pop a rating.

Also. Wyatt's V League of Nations? Please don't tell me they're going to try and turn either group face. Fans won't accept League of Nations and the Wyatt's as faces just doesn't seem right.

So AJ is gonna get fed to Reigns. Yay. Although a nice swerve would be bullet club debuting and helping AJ win but that's a stretch and then some.

That's the only way I see a good ending coming out of Payback. Either Bullet Club help AJ win, or Reigns get's boo'd out of the building on successfully defending.

I like the idea of the Wyatts as a force of nature. Neither heel nor face. Just ass-kickers.

The fans chanting Thank you Wyatts say otherwise. Imo they are already ruined so turning them face or tweener gives them a fresh start. Now if they lose to LoN though.. Idk how they can recover

That was the best raw in years. A bunch of great matches and all of the call ups really seemed to fit. I think Cesaro would have been the best choice but the fact that he is going against AJ gives me really hope that finally they are going to some serious heel change to Roman finally. So good to feel satisfied after a RAW after a long, long time.

Finally looks like they are doing right by the women as well.

The crowd would have chanted that to anyone because the LON is boring.

More interested in seeing how a post WM crowd reacts to them though.

I hope there's a Reigns heel turn soon. His mannerisms were a little different though, far more arrogant than they have been (just the way he reacted to each of the challengers, including waving off AJ like he wasn't a threat). Don't know if it means anything, but he seemed to be fighting the boos a lot less.

I think a brand split could be on the cards.

Apparently they were advertising exactly that in local markets over the summer.

I genuinely like The Miz. I think he's one of the best heels they've got on the roster.

I totally called Ryder losing his title the very next day, by the way. I'd have liked Corbin to do it instead of having a dour draw with Dolph, but I don't mind Miz as champion.

Here's hoping Zayn's injury isn't as bad as feared.
Word is the injury is 100% storyline.

So the Payback card (they swapped with Extreme Rules) is looking like this??

Reigns v Styles

Nattie v Charlotte

Owens v Zayn

Cesaro v Jericho

Sasha v Becky?

Wyatts v LoN

Ryder v Miz

Enzo & Cass v Dudleyz

Aside from Ryder/Miz and Wyatts/LON it interests me more than WM.

Surely the New Day will be in there somewhere. has their ever been a 3 vs 3 vs 3 for the titles before? That would be something different.

They should just revert back to Backlash as it is a more recognisable name and has a similar post mania definition to Payback.

Anyways, the PPV after Mania is usually Wrestlemania v2.0. It's not looking like the case this year although I don't expect Reigns/AJ to remain unless they fully turn Reigns heel and align him with the authority. Else, I expect the title match to happen on Raw or Smackdown or a 3rd competitor added.

I genuinely feel sorry for Zack Ryder getting the Kane treatment on Raw. Getting jobbed out to a bloke with X-Pac heat the night after your title victory cannot be a good feeling. Back into the fold after SmackDown this week, unless they do a title change again.

If there was a time to give him a big Wrestlemania moment and a meaningful title reign it was at Wrestlemania 28 when he was white hot. Instead they put him in a feud with Kane and teamed him up with Eve (which was good), then dropped him from both and put John Cena in his place burying Ryder in the process.

To be honest, even as a former Zack Ryder fan, I was annoyed to see him win at Mania. He was the poster boy for overlooked talent a few years ago, but him winning meant more deserving talents were overlooked.

It's especially annoying given he just dropped it to Miz the next night.

At least it started Mania with a holy shit i didn't see that coming moment. Much better than having Miz winning it at Mania even if they were planning to go with Miz for a title run.

Are they finally turning Reigns heel? The RAW promo, how he treated Zayn and AJ vs Owens and Y2J when they came out. The fact he is going up against AJ in CHicago of all places. I mean look at this, looks like condescending heel to me.
